Dolphin 3 - 2 Marine View B
P.Hickman 1300 - 2070 M.Senior D.Hickman 3470 - 910 S.Oliver C.Oakley 3670 - 3170 M.Williamson L.Hickman 2690 - 1490 A.Campbell K.Knudson BP - 660 I.McArthur
In line with a lot of other tables, it is very whippy and has strange rolls in this cold weather.
Pete had every chance to beat Mark in the first, and was looking set for a close game until he black pegged half way through the game. 0-1
Damo had one of the best games he's had in a long time, dominating from the start with a lovely 2710 break (we think it's his highest competitive break). The score seemed secondary as it was the manor in which he got it that impressed us, clearing up a near full table and keeping his nerve as the coins mounted up on the table. 1-1
Chris looked like he had let the table get to him as Matt was 3k ahead with 4 minutes to go but the comback kid lived up to his name and got the 3k back plus the change to just pip Matt at the bar. 2-1
I got very little off the break so Amy and I knocked about the end of the table for the remainder of the game 3-1
KK had a real chance against Ian here, but a few loss of 20 and 30 breaks meant a red ball 200 was needed to win, which just toppled the BP to even the overall scores up a bit more. 3-2
Well done all, look forward to the return match next week!

Gardeners v Cellar Bar
Excellent fun packed evening where the scorers had to up the volume to be heard, plenty of banter, great sausage and chips, chances for all, thanks to our oponents for the company.
Jean Brackenriidge * opened with under 1k Adam Squires break back off at just over 1k, but was first back in and added 5k. 7880 - 1570 1-0
Steve Aylmore * off at under 1k, Sandra Race break back added just over 1k, Steve break back off at 700, Sandra two moe goes at break adding scors each time. 2030 - 4830 1-1
Lorraine Hall * off at 1.4k, Bill beak back just over 3k, scrappy game with Lorraine clawing back the advantage to get within 1k, Bill break back made sure. 7070 - 2080 1-2
Rick Cunningham * off at 300, Colleen Park opened up lead with just over 1k, she kept the lead until latter stages when Rick break back and settled it. 4980 - 2120 3 - 1
Sheena Wood * opened with 1.5k, TJ struggled to find pace at back end and Sheena first back in, unfortunately pegged 1.7k, from this TJ head down and break back to play remaining time out. 7880 - 1690 1- 4
