Mill House v Dun Horse - playing on 10th January. Mill House 3, Dun Horse 2 BB Warrior 8910, John Lear 1220 tommo 5910, Spudgun 1800 Vicky T 800, Bravo 8760 margo 1870, Skippy (PJ) 1750 Johnny H 2050, The Giff 3260 Good close match played in a friendly atmosphere with some good banter. Game 4 was a tragedy when Skip pushed too far and took out the black coming back. Margo had just 600 on the board at the time and played very well to hold him at bay after that. Finally the Giff played a really steady game full of good shots to avert a disaster for the Dun Horse.

Well played the Mill House think we were all amazed by Paul's Peg well done Margo for keeping him at bay. Thanks for the kind comments Tommo.

Just like to add that Tommo played a blinder in our match. With the frame in the balance I left a ball down the front end of the table and close to the cushion. Tommo then proceeded to knock in 27 straight shots into the 50 hole, some off the cushion, some straight in. It was a wonderful demonstration of control and many of the shots are ones I simply don't know how to play.
Once again, well played Mr. Tommo.

Just like to add that Tommo played a blinder in our match. Thank you, kind sir...The words 'keeping opponent at bay' relevant again here, after the thrashings you gave me home and away last season ! ;)
