I understand that Gardeners A v Bib & Tucker C is being played at the Blue Lagoon and that the fixture between Blue Lagoon v Romans is swapped and being played at Romans. I hope you have all got that especially confused.com Warrior!

Yes, it's all as clear as mud now Matthew..... ::) :o ;D ;D Wouldn't it have been easier for the Gardeners A to just play their match at the Romans..... :-/ ??? Are the Bib & Tucker B playing their match at the Horse & Groom....?

Atlas 4 Gardeners B 1
Matt Adatepe 9,000* - 6,870 Bill Kerr Steve Hurley 3,870* - 5,200 Dave Ingram Alan Messer 4,540* - 3,230 Colin Green Brian Muggeridge 10,090* - 430 Tony Jenner Mick Pope 5,380* - 4,420 Rick Cunningham
Matt the Landlord's superb 9k and touch opening break set the Atlas on their way to a well deserved win.... Bill played the table better than any of the rest of the visitors but was unfortunate to be on the receiving end of it. 8-)

Wellie 2 - 3 Doom & Gloom
Garry 3280 Terry M 3520. Nearly an upset from our glorious captain. 0-1 Mark 880 Terry C. Mark just couldn't get going. 0-2 Tim 5040 Doug 1060. Same as above but for Doug. 1-2 Me 4670 Micky 2560. I was lucky that when Micky got the break back he left them both short, otherwise he would have made the comeback. 2-2 Nick 2100 Terry R 3710. Nick was in the lead for most of this game with Terry getting a break at the end make the win for the Doom & Gloom. 2-3
A good evening with a nice bunch of guys.

Fixtures for Wednesday 25th January... Blue Lagoon v Romans (playing at Romans) (Match cancelled by Blue Lagoon)I guess this game can now be played on 28th March depending on what Nige and/or committee say with regards to the cancelled games (meeting on 26/02/2012) Chunk - it might mean avoiding Blue Lagoon as a neutral table for the semis on that night mate

I guess this game can now be played on 28th March depending on what Nige and/or committee say with regards to the cancelled games (meeting on 26/02/2012) Kev Hall has said there should be no problem re-arranging the games (you add a good point about the table though) and we know you lot are sporting enough to play us so unless there is objection should we expect you at the Blue Lagoon on the 28th Matt?

Blue Lagoon 3-2 Romans (re-arranged match) played on 28/03/2012
Dan Driscoll 2450 - B/P Ross Pettiford Chris Oakley 5050 - 1250 Peter Aylemore KK 1360 - 2030 Dave Roberts Joe Oakley 3410 - 1480 Matt Knight Pete Hickman 1660 - 2120 Toni Hunt
Well done to the Blue Lagoon and it was an enjoyable evening with them tonight. At least I can say I lost to the best of the 'Oakleys' - Joe is a seriously good player already (though I did know that beforehand) and was a thoroughly deserved winner. At least he can't beat me again in the return match at the Romans next week as he kindly told me he was on holiday ;D
The rest of the games were not much to write home about, especially as they were played mainly at the top of the table which was particularly tough - see you next week guys
