Kev, should we not get through to the Plate final, can we re-arrange our Romans or Wellie games on the 28th March as we have no other time to do it?
EDIT: Actually we have May 9th as well if either the Romans or Wellie don't get into the KO final.

Horse and Groom 4 - 1 Gardners A Wins for the three Terry's and me for a change with the reply coming from Pete Brown.
As per usual the Roman's failed to lay on any food so we all went home hungry. I would question why Team matches are placed there as they appear to take no notice of what's going on if their own team is not at home.
In future if we are drawn to play there we will try and make other arrangements or forfeit the match.

A good win for us tonight against the table topping Atlas. Thanks to the West Hill for their hospitality and bacon sarnies and cheesy chips :)

In all competitions both players, pairs of players or team Captains are responsible for arranging the match and booking the table. All arrangements for matches must be made with the agreement of the Landlord in whose house the match is to be played. So did either captain phone the venue and request food for the evening?

Hello kevin,
I stand corrected and apologise for my comments. I don;t beleive either of the captains phoned for the match. However it seems that we have been spoilt in the last twenty years that I have played where the host Pub put food on without the need of a phone call. I appreciate the need to phone and arrange singles and doubles etc however for Team competitions the game is arranged by the Committee ie on a specific date and a specific place which is why we were perhaps a bit confused.
