Salfords SC 3, SPCC B 2
Gary Atkins 2300, Dave Snashfold 1670 Colin Frost 5180, Paul Trottman 2420 Ted McCarthy 840, tommo 2850 Ian Greensted 4910, Mama Hall 1020 Colin Frost (4-plyr rule) 1640, tommo (4-plyr rule) 2860
An entertaining evening on what apparently used to be the Holland Club top.
Boball spectated/scored all the games and demonstrated in a friendly afterwards that there was nothing wrong with it, racking up a score of 9k+ (equal to the whole of our team's total) - despite my best efforts to put him off ! ;D ;D
Well done to the home team, gracious in victory. 8-)

CON CLUB A 2 GARLAND A 3 A FINN 3820 - S TINTO 7910 L ROBERTS 3510 - J WADSWORTH 9130 D CONSTABLE 2370 - G JUKES 9590 V SPARKES 11700 - C ROBINS 440 J GREENSTED 7990 - C WAYLAND 6040
Good billiards last night with the Garland coming out 3-2 winners! Simon kicked off with 3k Andy had two goes at the break but came off both times on a straight 50 pot ::) Laurie had a break of 3410 then Jason played through to the last ball which he missed :o Geoff was masterful in his opener 9k and DC had not enough time Vern restored some home pride(Andy doesnt like pride by the way) with a 9.5 k opener In the last unbeaten Cliff Wayland started with2.5 and then added another 3.5 before I got the break and played out the table for 7990 8-)
Great Chilli from the good lady cheese + onion sarnies for Andy :) :) blenty of the usual banter between two evenly matched teams ;)

League Rule 5c. If one or both teams have only 4 players, the first 4 games are drawn as usual. The fifth game of the match is drawn from players 1 to 4 League Rule 5d. The team with only 4 players forfeits the break. If both teams only have 4 players, the break sequence is as usual, ie the away team gets the break in the fifth game.

Exactly: Rules were applied to the letter.
Just as well for me too, as in game one Snash spent the entire game trying to get the break back and never did....
