WEEK 8 RESULT
Old Oak A 0 South Park Con Club A 5
Sharon Balcome 360 - Silverfox 10,150 0-1 Foxy losing opener but Shazza unable to capitalise so with breaks of 6k + 3.5k plus was a comfortable start for the visitors :)
Graham Holman 3710- Laurie Roberts 74500-2 Budgie opens with 3.5k and it looked good as Laurie struggled to get the balls back. But Laurie tuck at it and with a nice run out ot7.4k took the second game
Richard Plaw 410- Andy Dorsel Finn 62900-3 Steady 5k for Andy and it prooved enough 0-3
Kieth Wilkinson 1690 - D.C. (most popular man in BB)6800 0-4 Keith looked good early but flattered to deceive but DC having taken the Old Oak house champs struggled to get going until a 5k break put the away side 4-0 up
Martin Greenway 2230 - John Slee 2900 0-5 :) :) :) :) :) WEll this game was a sight to see with both playeers trying to give it to the other :o JS must have had 4 pegs of 1.5-2.5 breaks and Martin couldn`t get back at him and John had a tense 2.5 break to win at the death :-[
But as always at the Oak its a nice place to play BB with the most supportive Landlord/Lady Colin + Pauline Thanks

Our postponed match from Week 8 was played tonight.
South Park CC B 3, Holland Club 2
Mr Reaper 9940, David Waller 2880 Trotter 4110, Dave Timlin 5480 tommo 7060, David Pedleham 2000 Snash 6440, Tony Cross 5260 Trotter (4-player rule) 3830, John Timlin Sr 7570
Unfortunately Mama Hall indisposed with that tummy bug going round the family, so captain Trotter was obliged to play twice and lost to a pair of twins, who it must be said played well.
Snash won the tightest game against Tony Cross who made a rapid exit soon after. ;)
Get well soon, Lorraine. :-*
