Gardeners B 2 Albion 3
Tony Jenner 3,500 - 3,910* Alan Brackenridge Bill Kerr 2,200 - 2,320* Kevin Stoner Dave Ingram 4,030 - 2,190* Sandra Race Rick Cunningham 2,480 - 2,470* Bella Stoner Colin Green 1,690 - 3,730* Kevin Hall
Great fun evening with lots of friendly banter.... everybody had chances and plenty of visits to the table, which has recently been moved slightly in the bar (to allow a piano to come in) and obviously hasn't settled in its new position or been set up yet. ;)
A well deserved win for the Albion on the night.... 8-)

Atlas table obviously much easier than early season as Gardeners insisted on potting the break not 3 times but 4 times. Match would have been a lot closer if they had not done so, but final score 5-0 to the Atlas

Romans 4-1 Montreal
Toni Hunt 1550 - 830 DJ Robins** - DJ off first break and never got it back, Toni was on top form back of the table adding a few each time
Ross Pettiford** 1880 - 1060 Mick Barsby - Good win for Ross despite him not being happy with his performance
Rose McGuiness 1050 - 1420 Trevor Hocking** - Trev was a late arrival but made up for it with a sensible policy of scoring a few, keeping them and then letting Rose miss....it worked :o
Matthew Knight** 4440 - 1670 Moppy Scott - Not many off the break and Moppy was first to get the balls back but couldn't make it count and I managed to get the break back and play out for team win ;D
Dave Roberts 2300 - 1150 Bob Mechan** - Bob was in front for a lot of the game but Dave got a nice break near the end for victory
I think fair to say a bit of a shock on recent form but obviously the Mont continued their love of the Romans and the table.......not ;) The banter was still pretty good though but we missed Gary :'(

Westhill 3 - Wellie 2
Micky Winder 4330 Nick Simmonds 3450 - A close game thoughout. 1-0 Colin Smith 5060 Mark Senior 3290 - Mark had a couple of chances, but like the rest of us kept leaving the one up white short. 2-0 Geoff Dobson 540 John Perrin 6510 - the start of a come back. I lost about 1500 whilst Geoff lost a 2k+ break and then more when he played the break 4 times. 2-1 Kev Simmons 1500 Garry Frizzell 3130 - It's not often Garry can get 3k and still be the lowest scorer on our team. 2-2 Chris tupper 5670 Tim Scotney 3380 - Tim not feeling at his best after spending an afternoon in hospital having a camera shoved down his throat. He, like the rest of us suffered with the one up, finally mastering it when it was to late. 3-2
Total points Average per player Westhill Wellie 17100 19760 3420 3952
A good night on an interesting top. One of those matches that was so mush fun you didn't mind losing to much. The Snorker Casserole went down a treat on cold night up on that hill.

Blue Lagoon 3 - 2 Bib & Tucker A
D.Driscoll 1710 - 1140 P.Bramhall C.Oakley 2160 - 1640 S.Noble K.K BP - 1960 C.Pemberton P.Hickman 2120 - 2210 N.Nutley L.Hickman 2400 - 2200 M.Buckle
Close games all round on a poor goons top tonight.
Table definitely been changed, TJ check your PMs!
Danny got us off to a win in the first although he was behind until the last few minutes. Somehow we had 8 whites on the table for the first 10 minutes until Spencer realised! :o 1-0 Chris struggled like the previous 2 did and again was pretty even until he broke away a little to claim the win 2-0 KK and taxi battled it out but Chris was always in control. After a good few shots at the 100 hole each, KK decided to go for the 200 and lipped the BP :) 2-1 The next game was as close as it could get, coming down to the last ball and Pete didn't have what it took. 2-2 Deciding game, in a similar fashion to the other 4 games it was very close with not a lot of break building going on, and came down to the last ball. 6th time lucky for me :) 3-2
Lush pizza & chips kept us going and at least the banter stopped us moaning about the table ;)
