Plough A 2, Mill House 3
Dave Vizor 1720 Johnny Haigh 4470 Geoff Parsons 920 Dave Ingram 4760 Nick Rees 900 Margo Thompson 2670 Mark Webber 2190 Clive Thompson 1690 Steve Vizor 1460 Vicky Timson 1310
Plough table very playable tonight - except in tommo's case, choosing all the wrong shots and well beaten by Mark. Steve stole the last one off Vicky to make it a half-decent result for the Plough. Thanks for a good evening with usual good selection of sarnies.

Stout BB 3-2 Windmill B
Pete.H 5000 - 5950 Steve.E (Best game of the year with some quality breaks by both guys!) Ricky.D 8670 - 810 Mike.L (Mike's BP mid game made it easier for Ricky who was playing well) Sam.S 1320 - 1460 Gary.C (Played at the top - Sam missed the 100, Gary got it 1st time for the win) Adam.K 5980 - 2340 Barry.D (It was closer than the score suggests, Barry with no luck.) Dick.D 6330 - 2610 Dave.L (Nip & Tuck until Dick's 4k late on wrapped it up)
A thoroughly enjoyable evening with the Windmill team as usual & Stout BB back to winning ways...

Three more writeups to complete the week:
Limeburners 1, Roffey Y 4 Roffey Club open the gap to a full 10 points from the pack. Continuing in dominant form against The Limeburners. John Miller opened with the highest score of the match against Mick Johnson, Lee Cable quickly made it 2-0. Rick Langridge also played well taking match point. Limeburners Chip Sawyer nicked the game against Dick Cable & Mick Fairs cruised the last.
Windmill A 3, Holbrook Club 2 A home win for Windmill A was welcome but more is needed to help the cause. Rob David dominated leg 1 against Vic Razzell with Andy Crofton following up in the 2nd. Sam Jones gave Holbrook the break winning leg 3. Steve Hopkins levelled the match with a win over Joan Davies. Windmill’s Mark Gasson won the deciding leg.
Crawley Club 2, Stout House A 3 Crawley Club play their penultimate last home match before the club shuts it doors for the last time, ending years of tradition of the Crawley Club in the business community. Derek Jessup took the first before Stout House A’s Gordon Carver stormed to a commanding 8350 win. Dave Howlett made it 2-1. Crawley’s Alan Downs made it all square leaving an important leg between Chris Kirkham & Barry Lawson. Barry came out eventual winner. - Ian Giffen
