Albion 5 Romans 0 Scores to follow. I was not there i went to football sadly we only drew. Sadly we didn't!!!! Well and truly stuffed, well played to the Albion gang minus Kev of course and thanks for a very enjoyable evening. There was the usual mix of good-natured??......and friendly??....banter ;D Dave was the only one who came close to winning....but that was against the Albion's substitute so probably wouldn't have counted anyway ;D Kev H 9490 - 2090 Matt Jean 5370 - 4010 Dave Sandra 3240 - 950 Peter Bella 6630 - 290 Toni Alan 10,270 - 120 Rose The night ended with vast quantities of Cheeselets, Twiglets, Minstrels and Pasta Bake being consumed :P

West Hill 2 Gardeners B 3
Kev Simmons 2,540 - 6,010* Dave Ingram Chris Tupper 9,500* - 710 Colin Green Colin Smith 8,100 - 2,480* Bill Kerr Geoff Dobson 0* - 2,200 Tony Jenner Mick Winder 3,330 - 5,290* Rick Cunningham
Good evening at the West Hill with plenty of games that could have gone either way.... Geoff particularly unlucky to take the black peg out on the way back down the table when he was comfortably ahead of TJ which got us back into the match. :o
Plenty of friendly banter and a lovely sausage casserole meant a good evening as always. 8-)

The Blue Lagoon team left without signing the result card. I suggest a mod moves this post as we don't want another argument on the proboards but as once again I am being made into someone I am not I have a right to defend myself. Cheating is one thing we will not allow, this 'foul shot' was where the scorer never called '1 up' and then called a foul shot for playing 4 down, but insists it was called so it's my word against the scorers and as the scorer is the referee the decision is final. Even if I could believe a 1 up was ever called, it was mumbled and not clearly audible as required by rule D5. The background noise and music assists the defence that it was called but it was still not audible enough for me to hear. Chris requested that he play the last game due to maintaining his masters rankings, we left shortly after.

You cannot ask for a thread or post to be removed because it might cause an arguement and then write a statment like this. This it is the second time a team I play in has been accused of cheating by someone who is in a losing postition and whose team has already lost the match. And by the same player. Both time the scorers have been players who have been involved in the game for a long time and know the rules (one of them has even written some of them). Enzo should remember the unsporting behavior is as bad as cheating. I don't think I wrote anything untrue in my match report. If fact I was quite restrained about The Blue Lagoon teams attitude as a whole. This is the last I shall say on this matter.

This thread will remain locked.
The staff of the forum consider an accusation of cheating to be way beyond the bounds of forum rules on flaming others.
Enzo has been banned from posting for one week, only the third time in eight years this action has been taken.
