Blue Lagoon v Bib & Tucker B (Match not played on 29/02/2012) Unfortunately the Bib B specifically requested this match be conceded and not postponed therefore this implies they have no intention of playing it.

Blue Lagoon v Duke of Wellington (Postponed from 09/11/2011) Match Awarded 5-0 to Duke of Wellington. This has quite an impact on league position and a reasonable solution has not been arranged which I think is very unsporting, we were happy to give the game to the Wellie if they're going to cry about it but it is not our choice to give the game away but in fact the committee's decision. There are extenuating circumstances appertaining to this match that never got addressed. It was not simply a 'no show' from our team, the venue we were supposed to be playing at, the Blue Lagoon was closed without prior warning and we should have postponed the game there and then but sportingly, as everyone would already be making their way, instead of calling it off I made a quick decision to reverse the fixture so it would be more convenient than to arrange for another night. The Duke of Wellington was in no shape to host a bar billiards match therefore both venues were unavailable. I am writing a letter of complaint to this effect to the committee, as if this issue has not been discussed how could a vote be made without all of the information, assuming a vote was conducted?

I think Spencer is a Bib A player...? ::) So, that means it was a 3-2 win for Bib B.... assuming they had a 5th player available to play. Can someone confirm please? ;D Our thoughts are definitely with Spencer and his family at this time.... get well soon. ;)
