Horsham fielded a makeshift side for the annual One-Day Interleague (Div 2) on Sunday 25th March, and finished a disappointing fourth behind Mid Sussex, Billingshurst and Lewes and just ahead of Hastings who were returning to the competition after an absence of many years.
Horsham have however found a star in Lee Cable who won 6 out of 8 games played. Dave Howlett also only lost two but had a further game tied. Full details of the event can be found on the SCBBA website.
This year Horsham have had to rebuild their side having lost many stars with relegation from the top flight of the Home and Away event. They have held their own in Div 2 and are safely positioned at half-way in the table. There has also been talk of getting together a Ladies team to take part in the One-Day event next year.
