Guernsey have now confirmed with me that they will have 11 players in the singles matches.
There will also be 5 Doubles matches.

If memory serves me right the final score was 36 22 to England. After the doubles I think it was 13 12 to England

Please see my very biased report below. Please feel free to add more. As i was playing it was very difficult to see exactly what was going on.
Can i also Add Mark Trafford was very Jammy to beat me in the dying seconds of our Singles match.
Guernsey V England Barbilliards 5th May 2012-05-14 at the Les Roquettes Hotel
Guernsey played England in the annual match recently and put in their best showing to date. With a 22 – 36 defeat.
The 1st session was the doubles format with all 5 games going on at the same time each match consists of 4 games each worth 1 point. There was also an extra point available for the most scored combined game points. England edged the session 13-12. The Highlight for Guernsey being the 5-0 victory Darren Ogier and Roy Le page inflicted on the England pairing of Richard Wooton and Dave Ingram.
Darren and Roy Managed to pip the 1st game against the break 2900 to 2130. In Game 2 Darren Opened up with around 2000 points. The England pairing though were not able to capitalise and Roy managed to double the points tally and take a 2-0 lead. Game 3 saw Dave Ingram miss early on his break. This allowed Darren an early chance to take another game against the break. He soon managed to get the break back and scored a steady 6500 break to secure a 3-0 lead. With the final game and Guernsey having the break the pressure was on Roy Le page to see if Guernsey could take the 1st ever white wash in the pairs. Roy opened the scoring with just over 5500 which effectively ended the contest and gave Guernsey 5 points.
Ian Champion and Gary Naftel were the only other pair to take victory for Guernsey. An impressive result as they came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
In the Singles Bob Chapple was the only person to take all 3 points off his opponent. Narrowly he took the 1st Game with a margin of just 290. The second game though he won easily with over 9000 points to Paul Barnet 3800.
Ian Champion the only other victor with a 2-1 victory over Tony Woolvin. Darren Ogier, Roy Le page, Paul Dyer, Trevor Gallienne and Gary Naftel were able to win a game against England but lost out on the aggregate score for the extra point.
