Lewes V Hastings
Jan Bithell 3140 : 1210 Tony Gates Colleen Park 1330 : 1030 Roy Harmer Richard Todd 360 : 6570 Mike Daw Dave Knight 3870 : 3330 Phil Osbourne Chase Newman 1430 : 2060 Sandy Harmer Kevin Stoner 2110 : 2530 Dave White Rick Bithell 2180 : 1410 Denis Cole
Lewes 4 : 3 Hastings
Well done Lewes. This was a close game with games 2 and 4 coming down to the last ball. Roy missed the 200 which would have tied the scores and phil needed the 200 with the red to win but unfortunately for us missed. The table seemed a bit unpredictable and just seemed to randomly drift right, then the next shot would be dead straight!!! Also the pockets were very ringy and looked like they needed a clean which accounted for many points for both sides being lost last night.
Overall a nice evening with the Lewes team and look forward to the return sometime next year.

WORTHING B 3 WORTHING A 4
Every game was going with the break until the 5th :-/
Adam Squires 10210 v 1530 Neil - Adam rode his luck in this one, in his 5k opener, he twice rocked different pegs :-X Chris Cox 3140 v 8290 Foxy - Jim not as good on here tonight as in recent matches, but done enought to win. Bill kerr 20 v 13060 Ricky - A nice 8k opener from Ricky and another 4k+ for good measure Barney 10250 v 350 Ian - Paul opened with 5k, Ian couldnt get the balls back and Barney added some more. Dave France 7380 v 6200 Barry - Two pieces of bad luck robbed Barry of the win, twice the ball moved on the D as he was playing the split shot, each time making him go to thick. Dave had just enough time to secure the leg. Gary Ridley 5350 v 7430 Martin - Strange decision this one, I thought Gary would go last against me, but instead chose to go against the break. Martin opened with 7k, Gary just fell short on the chase. Tony Lewis 1800 v 13050 Sir KT - Tony was off early and i cleared the table and made a 9k break.
Another close one between the A & B sides :o

Horsham -v- Littlehampton Postponed match played last night - or rather, yesterday afternoon as we had a 5.30 start, which proved popular. Thanks to the Littlehampton lads for their participation in a great match played in a rowdy, raucous atmosphere. I know you beat us 5-2 but - can we play you every week ?
