hi interleague fans
Eastbourne v Brighton B played at the Hurst Eastbourne
Roy Jenkins* 1790 V 4680 Sandra Race Dave Smith 3800 V 3870 Bella Stoner* Colin Southouse 490 V 9820 Alan Brackenridge* Peter Payne* 11290 V 550 Ryan Berrett Nigel Pead 3900 V 5740 Terry Malloy* Gary Sweeney 3100 V 8670 Jean Brackenridge* Stewart Chant* 6880 V 70 Marcus Chipman
result Brighton win 5-2
Felt like if the balls were on your side you won, lots of good and bad luck for both sides but brighton playes kept getting the break back and deserved the 5-2 scoreline
Peter Payne walked on water tonight beating his previous Eastbourne PB by 4k and Stewart Chant continued his good form with a steady 5.5k in game 7
The Hurst is now under new temp management so continue to watch this space.

As Sk1ppy said, a well-deserved win for Redhill on a very fast Old Oak table. "Salamander power" got them off to the best possible start, I think it was a debut appearance for Debz as two regulars (Genette and Fritz) were laid up with 'flu. tommo usual thing of not being able to add to a bright start, Martin clawing his way into the game bit by bit but just falling short. Richard took the game by the scruff of the neck in the next and overhauled a 3k deficit. Pete Nicholls was absolutely magnificent and would have scored 13k had he not been caught out by the bottom corner which lost him a big 5k. Bravely the Sk1ppy put himself on to try to save the match but Frank Doyle's experience proved too much. Good performances from Moose and Budgie for either side in the last two. Good hospitality and buffet, nice evening. 8-)

Well done to Tunny W :D - but from Worthing's point of view a good win for Enzo on his debut - well done to him. 8-)
