After much anticipation Richard has called to postpone our series 4 game on Sunday So the West Sussex v Redhill game will now be played at a later date as yet to be decided The above post moved from another thread. Just to remind everybody that The Sussex Inter League Rules state that any matches cancelled in the first 5 Series of Inter League matches must be played before Series 6...... which is due to be played on 23-24 January 2010. Allowing for Christmas, New Year, Inter League Series 5 (2-3 January), Sussex Individual Competitions (8-9 January) that only leaves ONE spare weekend before Series 6...... and Redhill B now have TWO cancelled matches to play. Let's hope that the snow stays away and everybody manages to get the games played in time..... :-/

Just heard that Sunday's Redhill A v Horsham has been called off by mutual agreement. This means that Redhill A also have TWO postponements to fulfill.

I don't know about the rest of my team, but there is certainly no way I'm going to be making it to Billingshurst tomorrow night!

Trouble is, it may not look too bad for the journey there, but you never know what snowfall there might be during the match: Much as we all love the game, not worth risking lives for.
Excellent decision from Dave Jones to relax the rules regarding the deadline for postponed games. As BFG says, commensense prevails.

Just to confirm i had 340 down on my scoresheet for Jan.
Many thanks to Mid Sussex for a good evening and to Ros for a lovely spread of rolls and selection of fillings.
Looking forward to see you for the return fixture at the Bridge.
