Excellent night and yes I did win the decider, plenty of banter, and all games could have gone either way as nobody sewed it up in one visit.

Great win for us, having lost for the last 2 years at the Oak. The table played well for us for a change with 5 players opening with enough score ;D Tony Cross 9230 v 550 Martin Smith - TC 9k opener Colin Robbins 4520 v 9660 Barry Holt - BH 9k opener Gary Powell 920 v 8270 Jim Greensted - Jim opened with 2k+ but after several visits, he got them back to win the leg. Geoff Jukes 9610 v 5160 Neil Higgins - Geoff whipped out on his very first split and just missed the peg but managed to stay on for a 9k break Terry Oakley 7420 v 9560 Ian Lelliott - Best game of the night with Ian opening with his score and Terry (great to see him playing again) finishing off. Laurie Roberts 410 v 11760 Sir KT - I opened with 10k Dave Constable 3880 v 1390 Chris Lawman - I think these two played on the same table as the rest of us ;D. To be fair though, Dave opened with 2k+ and neither player could get the balls back. The ball`s in our court now being 4 points clear of Brighton, with our next game at home to Worthing `B`. It`s also close at the bottom with Horsham gaining their second win, all to play for there as well :o Worthing `B` beat T/Wells 5-2

Brighton A have lost 3 in a row ? :o :o :o Yes, defeats in the last 3 series, although (slightly) offset by a 7-0 win in the re-arranged match against Tunbridge Wells in the middle of those..... Brighton A 3 Horsham 4 Chris Tupper 2,750* - 3,970 Dave Howlett Richard Wooton 4,390 - 5,700* Gareth Lloyd Nigel Senior 1,110 - 3,760* Rick Dewdney Kevin Hall 2,750* - 2,280 Adam Kuzimski Jim Millward 7,790 - 2,710* John Slee Steve Mariner 2,950 - 3,320* Vernon Sparkes Dave Ingram 8,310* - 520 John Miller Probably fair to say that the table, in it's new position ::), was "tricky" with everybody struggling to get the break back..... and, if they managed that, then finding it ever harder to keep a break going. :o It did mean that there were several very close games and all credit to Horsham who made more of the chances they had. ;)
