Hi Sussex Inter league Fans
Result Card for Lewes V Eastbourne Played at The Black Horse
Jan Bithell 3940 v 4420 Colin Southouse Darren Newnham bp v 4180 Nigel Pead Ric Bithell 8570 v 910 Chris Hagger Chase Newman 2990 v 2660 Stewart Chant Kevin Stoner 970 v 6420 Peter Payne Dave Knight 1880 v 1700 Lee Sunshine Richard Todd 2010 v 2240 Mike Reilly
Result Eastbourne win 4-3
Jan came off early allowing Colin to take and maintain a small lead throughout, plenty of chances for both, Jan on the break at the end but the clock ran out a minute early for her Darren not on the right table tonight, giving Nigel too many chances and the 2ND game Chris off early leaving Ric to take a 3k lead followed by another 4k+ break to seal the game Chase missed the opening break to give Stewart the lead for the virtually the whole game, but a peg and the break back in the last 2 minutes gave Chance the chance he needed and he took the game that should not have been his, guess we're all getting used to this now!!! but nice attempt by Stewy Peter played a steady game with a 4k near the end to seal the game against Kev Lee sunshine was on form tonight opening with 2k followed shortly after by 6.6k which was lost again with only 2 Min's to go Dave recovered the break and played the table for another hard earned escape for Lewes, Instead of the game tally being 5-1 Eastbourne were at 3-3 with the decider beckoning
Richard also missed the opening break but Mike was unable to make his mistake count, a nervy match by both players it was nip and tuck throughout with Mike maintaining a small lead, but Richard got the break back but came up short with the bar coming to Eastbournes rescue for the second time in the evening.

WORTHING B 3 WORTHING A 4 All games going with the break but there were chances for some as only Ian Lelliott and KT went off with enough to secure their wins Other Worthing A winners Barry Holt and Foxy ;D B Winners Lorenzo, Bill and Chris ;) Loz Hickman 9030 v 2150 Martin S. - 3 breaks for Loz, Martin retrieved the balls early on, only to get a massive kick on the one up Pete Hickman 0 v 15020 Ian L. - 10k opener for Ian followed by another 5k Dave France 5490 v 8720 Barry H. - Barry opened with 2k, Dave made 5k, Barry made sure next time. Bill Kerr 7130 v 2650 Lady H - Hayley :-* was kind enough to help us out when one of my players failed to turn up without any warning. Bill was off early, Hayley got them back, then Bill made about 4k to make sure. Gary Ridley 4520 v 7820 Foxy - Jim came off under 2k, Gary got about 4k and Jim made sure with another 4k. Tony Lewis 260 v 17730 KT - I opened with 10k and made another 7k for good measure ;D Chris Cox 5560 v 5350 Nipper - Chris established his lead with a couple of breaks, Martin eventually got them back and set about the chase. Unfortunately, when he drew level, he left the one up short and let Chris in for the point.

Hi all,
Redhill b 5:2 Hastings
An enjoyable evening with the table playing well. Plenty of chances in most games but Redhill b made the most of their opportunities in the final two games to take the win.

Mid Sussex A 3 - 4 Littlehampton
Seemed to be a struggle for some on the table last night. Littlehampton fought well for the win. Bobhall or Lorraine will have the scores. Wins for myself, Peter Edwards and Derek Taylor for Mid Sussex, and Steve Beech, Alan Messer, Dave Hampton and one other who has slipped my mind (many apologies) for Littlehampton

It is a PB in the Inter League for Aaron, but he has scored more in the Redhill B league 8-) Well done to him, let's hope the first of many. His style reminds me of a young(er) Jukesy. 8-)

Just waiting for the scores from this game.... Mid Sussex A 3 - 4 Littlehampton Seemed to be a struggle for some on the table last night. Littlehampton fought well for the win. Bobhall or Lorraine will have the scores. Wins for myself, Peter Edwards and Derek Taylor for Mid Sussex, and Steve Beech, Alan Messer, Dave Hampton and one other who has slipped my mind (many apologies) for Littlehampton .... to be able to complete the update on the Sussex Website. 8-) I have heard that Henry hit another big score (around 17k) in this match so I am sure he will be looking forward to seeing that showing as another successful break game.... ;D .... however I must advise that there is no truth to the rumour that his name should be changed on the website to Henry "Breaks".... :o ;D ;D ;D
