Hi Inter league BB fans
Result card for Mid Sussex B v Eastbourne
Geoff Fairs* 2170 v 3440 Colin Southouse Mick Kierwan 890 v 2560 Lee Sunshine* Ros Appleby 3050 v 2020 Chris Haynes* Paul Jobbins* 7100 v 370 Chris Turner Richard Spurrier 1380 v 3840 Chris Hagger* Trevor Rees 4680 V 1290 Roy Jenkins* Paul Moyes-Robb* 2960 v 3440 Stewart Chant
Result Eastbourne win 4-3
Geoff off after losing 2k Colin kept just ahead the whole game on an unusually tricky Hurst table off break with a distinct left hand roll :-[ which caused plenty of lost breaks throughout the night.
Mick didn't get to grips with the table, Lee kept getting a few points and collects his first set of county ranking points at last, should go from strength to strength from now on.
I chose Chris to play Ros to hopefully get some revenge for his poor result in the captains comp a few weeks ago... well i found it amusing... i think Chris did initially, but Ros Got the better of Chris again in the end.
Paul played well tonight through i think anyone could have beaten Chris tonight, due to his unfortunate condition >:(
Richard had no luck in his game against Chris Hagger tonight and glad to see Chris getting a bit of form back
Roy off early leaving Trevor to open with 4k but pegged, Roy had a few chances but Trevor continued piling on the points to make the match score 3-3 at the interval
Ros provided some great buffet bits which were hurriedly demolished by the frenzied eastbourne hoards
leaving Paul and Stewart to battle it out for tonight's honours, a great final match with plenty of opportunities for both , Stewart was a few hundred ahead and playing at the bar which was enough to take the game and match.
a great evening with the tricky top causing as many problems for the hosts as it did for the visitors, the result could easily have gone the other way but Eastbourne, not for the fist time, rode their luck when it mattered.

Tunbridge Wells 2 Worthing A 5 Scores from Sir KT I`m sure will follow Winners for Worthing Stuart Ian Barry Jim KT and for T.W. Pete and Martin Lovely spread after sarnies chips hot chicken very nice indeed Neil Chamberlain 2750 v 2830 Stu Mepham - Both players tried to lose this one, Stu lost a 5k break but got back on to win at the bar. Brian Stevens 760 v 15110 Ian Lelliott - Ian opened with 10k and added another 5k. Doug Phillips 8400 v 9840 Barry Holt - Best game of the night. Barry started and Doug finished. Pete Sainsbury 11370 v 5830 Martin Smith - Pete opened with 8800 giving Martin a squeak, but didn`t take it. Pete added a bit more and Martin finished with 4k+. Vinny Mitchell 1700 v 13120 Jim Greensted - Jim kicked off with a nice 10k for the win. Martin Russell 6940 v 4680 Martin Cole - Nipper a bit unlucky to lose this one. He was on about 6k when a double kiss put a ball behind the 10 hole, plenty of side on the ball for the next shot didn`t help and he missed. Martin made enough for the point. Richard Corbould 0 v 18920 - Richard lost his opening break and I played the rest out bar the last ball. Foxy was right about the food, excellent spread.
