Brighton A v Worthing A postponed as most of the Brighton team are away on Lloydy's stag weekend in Amsterdam.... hopefully they will all return in one piece at some stage to enable us to re-arrange the game! :o ;D

Hi Inter league BB fans
Result card for Brighton C v Eastbourne
Steve Hurley 4260 v 6870 Colin Southouse Matt Knight 4750 v 3290 Chris Turner Sheena Wood 1790 v 3730 Peter Payne R Pettiford 6930 v 2650 Chris Haynes Matt Adatepe 3480 v 8610 Nigel Pead Chris Elliott 5150 V 3970 Roy Jenkins Mick Pope 4260 v 2520 Stewart Chant
result Brighton c win 4-3
Steve off surprisingly early, Colin opened with 6k but struggled from then on, Steve came back steadily but a few awkward balls and the bar kept Colin on the right side of the score card.
Matt knight was always ahead of Chris Turner but there were plenty of chances for both with the atlas top playing a bit trickily off break tonight, Chris fought back well but Matt was on the break at the bar to take the 2nd game
Peter Payne was 2k ahead in short time and remained the same margin ahead throughout the game.
Chris Haynes struggled to maintain any rhythm, giving C Pettiford too many chances on the table most of which wernt taken but a nice break at the end saw the highest home score of the night.
Nigel Pead played the table well, while Matt Adatepe found the gods were not on his side early on tonight leaving Nigel to forge further ahead with a nice 6k break with Matt with not enough time to catch up.
Roy Jenkins lost his opening 2k break missing a ball behind the 30 hole, but Chris Elliott was struggling with the table as well, a nice 4k from Chris at the end saw the scores levels at 3-3
Mick opened with 1.9k, Stewart was unable to capitalize on the numerous break opportunities that came his way leaving Mr Pope with the honours and the decider, with the teams evenly matched the home table proved to be the trump card for Brighton tonight
Plenty of pizzas to chose from and a nice evening with some entertaining banter from the usual suspects
