Result from Horse & Groom A
G. Walsh 340 v I Huddy 1400 J. Clarke 2090 v V. Kwok 1170 P. Hennessy 1420 V O. Roberts 1120 P. Bramhall 1900 V M. Snersbourne 1420 M. Buckle 1590 V T. Carver 970
A very tight game with the Groom just shading it. Many, many thanks to the Hill, but we do want the "Wooden Spoon," as we said during the night.

Good morning everyone. I’ve had some feedback which points towards my epic match write up being badly missed by all 4 of you that read them. I am therefore returning to the forum by popular demand to enlighten you to the weekly goings on in the Atlas C, and I’ll try all I can not to rickroll you all!
Albion A vs Atlas C Kevin Stoner 5,720 – 8,140 Jim Millward Mr Stoner kicked off with a steady 5K, unbelievably when Jim got the break back he pushed the red left of the 50 and came off just after. However on his second return he made no mistake to cross the winning line comfortably. 1-0 to the Atlas
Kevin Hall 16,430 – 0 Glenn Chubb Kev kicked off with just over 12k in about 14 minutes, killing the game but at the same time not going for a 20, a fact that I pointed out whist standing behind him, so a duly touched up allowing me to peg my first, and indeed next visit to the table! Needless to say Kev carried on to rack up some more score to further humiliate me. 1-1
Alan Brackenridge 7,830 – 4,730 Geoff Jukes I was gassing with Bella for half this game about how I can’t believe her kids are not kids anymore. But from what I could make out Alan went off with a steady break, and Geoff although getting the break back would have had to be superman (or Phil Collins on performance enhancing drugs) to have caught the score in the time he had left. 2-1 to the Albion and I’m on my 5th pint of the night already.
Bella Stoner 450 – 19,730 Steve Mariner Cometh the hour cometh the Mariner. Bella left her first one up short and that was all the table time she had. Steve immediately got the balls back and went on to rack up an awesome break of 19,730. The only upsetting thing was that this was the game (as we were told there is always one game each week that does this) where the bar dropped early. In this case it was only 30 seconds but enough to deny Steve of a 20k break. But none the less it was still awesome to watch. 2-2 and we’re down to the decider.
Sandra Hall 500 – 10,650 Grant Tulley Mrs Hall decided to let Grant on early, and over the course of a couple of breaks Grant was able to secure enough to easily cross the line and give the Atlas a 3-2.
Great evening and company. Very good standard of Billiards as well from what I watched. I’ll endeavour to actually be a part of it next time. Well done to all involved and big thank you to the Albion for hosting a very pleasant evening.
