West Hill B 2-3 Romans
I.Huddy 850 - 6140 M.Knight** **O.Roberts 1800 - 1550 T.Hunt V.Kwok 1820 - 1830 P.Aylemore** **N.Sherbourne 1430 - 1150 R.McGuiness T.Carver 1670 - 2160 R.Pettiford**
Well we fell over the line, it was a great struggle, somehow Peter managed to win game 3 after Valerie had put in a very good showing especially at the top of the table, but Pete knocked the red in the 200 to win. Pegs were flying everywhere and straight shots were missing the balls completely :o Ross did enough to win the decider, just glad the first player got his game out the way early so he give out plenty of banter.........to his own team ;)
The Irish Stew was awesome, thanks 8-)

Good Morning Everybody. Here is our epic match report from the Atlas last night.
Atlas C vs Montreal
G.Chubb 12,430 vs 1,670 M.Scott Myself and Moppy fooled around at the back for about 7-8 minutes, when I finally got the break back something went wrong and I came off early. However Moppy could not take advantage and on my next visit I cleared the table throwing in a break of 10,700. I thought I played quite well, but little did I know I would be totally eclipst by the next 3 legs. 1-0 to the Atlas
Sue Mariner 1,310 vs 15,090 G.Mechan Gray went off with a very steady 6k. Sue managed to get the break back but left the 1up short early on. When Gary got back on he made no mistakes and continued to pile on the score to end up with 15,090. Best I've ever seen Gary play by a year and a mile... 1-1.
Steve Mariner 22,140 vs 380 M.Barsby For the second week in a row, it was Cometh the hour, Cometh the Mariner. Mick came off early but it was 2 minutes into the game before Steve managed to get the break back. I mention that because in the remaining 18 minutes Steve played the table out for a break of 22,140... Awesome. That's 41k in the last 2 games for Steve! 2-1 to the Atlas.
G.Tully 20,070 vs 300 B.Mechan Mr Grant "I would need a full 20 minutes to get 20k these days" Tully found himself in exactly the same position as Steve, getting the break back with 18 minutes left to play. Naturally being egged on by all of us standing behind him, Grant managed to fly and ran the table out with a break of 20,070... just as awesome. The puffing and panting from Grant after the game was worth signing up for the entire season on it's own. 3-1 to the Atlas and the first time I've ever seen 2 20k breaks in a row in a league game. All pressure was now on Jim.....
J.Millward 920 vs 940 D.Robins Dave came off fairly early, but then so to Jim. Both players messed around for a while, and Jim didn't manage to get the break back until about 5-6 minutes into the game! Jim then racked up the score getting to 9k before leaving a ball behind the 10 hole, and unbelievably his customary but now standard shot of the side cushion failed him and he lost his break. After a few more minutes messing around, Dave ran the rest of the table out and managed (I believe unknowingly) to win the game on the final ball. Final score... 3-2 to the Atlas C.
Great night overall, and especially well played to Steve and Grant with their back to back 20k breaks. Seems we're all warming up a bit now, so I'm awaiting next session already with huge anticipation. Many thanks as always to the Atlas for hosting us, and well as the Montreal for the laughs along the way.
Until next week......
