Brighton Dinner and Dance will be on Friday 21st June 2013 at the Royal Albion Hotel. Please put this date in your diaries. Expecting it will be £26 per head and that we will have the return of the singer as the entertainment. Once I have further information about pricing and menus I will let everyone know

Attached is the menu and details to be completed for those who wish to attend the Brighton Dinner and Dance for 2013. Jean has kindly agree to collect the monies but we would appreciate if you could let us know below if you are planning to attend. Unfortunately the price has increased to £27 for this year. We are limited to 40.

With only 1 week until forms and money are to be received here's what's happening ( not looking good as I need to pay all the money to the Royal Albion by the 20th)
Albion - 6 - form received and paid West Hill - 5 form received Misc - 2 - form received Mont - 7 Branch - 2
Really need the forms and money in ASAP so I can pay the Royal Albion and send them the menu choices

TOTAL 28 OF WHICH 18 HAVE PAID AND 10 ARE OWING
I have to pay for 40 people in full next Monday so please get forms and money to me this week. Thanks

Colleen & I won't be going for the meal this year but may pop down later if that is allowed for the presentations?
Perhaps somebody could let me know if that is possible, what time we should arrive and the cost to do that?

Have just managed to get 40. It is a shame that some of these are from Worthing league and dont play Brighton so would like to thank them. Also think its a shame that more Brighton players dont support this event. I can see it dying a death next year so thinking hats on for what to do.

Speaking personally, there are several reasons why we won't be attending this year.... partly because Colleen does not know her shifts that far in advance but mostly because of the cost involved and the limited choice of the menu. ::) By the time you add the cost of the meal for two (£54) to drinks and either a taxi or parking, we would be unlikely to get any change from £100 for the evening which, based on the event last year, simply does not make sense financially. :'( Perhaps the time has come to move over to a Presentation Event similar to the one run by Worthing which would keep the costs down and would therefore perhaps encourage more people to come along to the event.... potentially this could even lead to some funds being raised on the evening as well which could benefit the League in future.... 8-)

Update for you 40 Tickets sold and all money collected. For those of you who are arriving after the dinner I suggest you get there 8.30ish with your £5 ready so I dont have to harrass you all. Any raffle donations will be much appreciated and you can bring these along on the night (bacardis good in case i win lol)
See you all on the 21st for as always an enjoyable evening
