4 drop outs and 4 yet to confirm! Maybe we should include more reserves 21-24?

The Masters 2012/2013 will be held at The Roffey Club on Sunday 19th May 2013 starting at midday at the Roffey Sports & Social Club. The final 16 confirmed for the event are highlghted in green above.
As in my previous communications due to fixture congestion on finals night we will be playing the final of The Masters on the 19th instead of on finals night. Any queries in the meantime please let me know otherwise I look forward to seeing you all at The Masters. It would be great for people to come and support this great event which is really good day.

Organizer Hoppo will be in with some scores for this, but I have to report on a really great day, which culminated with worthy Finalists Ricky Dewdney beating Jim Greensted.
We saw a 35k-in-two-frames start from Gareth Lloyd, Tony Franks overturning an 11k deficit to beat Bob Hall with a 12k break, Ricky snatching two matches out of the fire, 6k in 6 minutes against me and winning from 15k behind against Lloydy - and Silver Fox dominating his semi against Micky Fairs.
1st Rd G.Lloyd bt S.Eely R.Cable bt D.Dewdney C.Thompson bt R.Spurrier R.Dewdney bt L.Hall J.Greensted bt S.Hopkins A.Kuzimski bt L.Cable T.Franks bt R.Hall M.Fairs bt D.Taylor
2nd Rd G.Lloyd bt R.Cable R.Dewdney bt C.Thompson J.Greensted bt A.Kuzimski M.Fairs bt T.Franks
Semi-final G.Lloyd lost to R.Dewdney J.Greensted bt M.Fairs
FINAL R.Dewdney bt J.Greensted
Good to see so few drop out from the original qualifiers - made for a good competition. Good also to see people staying till the end. A big well done to the finalists and well done and thank you to organizer Steve Hopkins.

A great day with several players in top form made for some exciting games. Both Finalists had good progression through the Rounds with Ricky coming through the second round by a very close margin against Tommo then going on to overturn Gareth Lloyd 16390 to 15420. As Tommo has said Foxy dominated his Semi Final to make the Final.
Both players had their own problems adapting to the Final table but Congratulations to Ricky on winning his second Masters title & commiserations to Jim.
Thanks to Steve for running a good day & to Sparky who was there to set up some very good tables. Thanks to Roffey Club for hosting us & I look forward to Finals night.

Yes indeed, Graham was there very early in the day preparing the three tables and the scores made today on them were a token of his efforts. 8-)

Thanks Ian and Tommo, I must say it was a pleasure seeing good players perform so well and would thank Ian for coming over at short notice to help move tables around and then with Steve 'Hoppo' helping to prepare the tables etc. etc.

Please find attached results from yesterdays masters. I am sorry if I missed out on anyones high break over 10K but think I got most of them. It was a great day with some superb play and high scores throughout the day and congratulations to Ricky Dewdney who beat Jim Greensted in the final. Well done to Jim in maing the final and scoring heavily throughout the tournament. High score and break went to Gareth Lloyd with 19450. Thank you for everyones support in particular to Graham for producing three great tables, Ian for being there all day and to Paul Jobbins and Stuart Carruthers for scoring so many games to help us out.
