Please be advised that Brighton A will be playing their home matches at the Blue Anchor in Station Road, Portslade.
Telephone contact number for the venue is shown on the Fixture List, under Brighton C.

A lot of things don't work on Internet Explorer 7 - the new websites I'm trying to design for starters ! I recommend you install Firefox. Free and reliable. I have to have Google Chrome to be able to maintain the AEBBA venues map, but have Firefox set as my main browser, and Google Chrome as a supplementary.
apologies if this is considered to be off-topic.....

Hastings v Redhill postponed game from December 3013. Sandy Harmer 3180 Genette Nicholls 4100 Dave White 6070 Mark Frazer 7340 Phil Osborne 5490 Martin Greenway 6810 Roy Harmer 7970 Aaron Hill 1510 Colin Southouse 6870 Alex Hornby 4060 Mike Daw 1060 Richard Plaw 8820 Andy Eldridge 4740 Graham Holman 1810 Well done to Redhill who done the damage in the first three games and it was always going to be difficult from there with us having to win all of the remaining games. In the most part they played our table much better than us. A good evening as always. Regards PO

In the most part they played our table much better than us. A good evening as always. Regards PO The table was played with a 20 min clock. 1.Sandy opened with 1.5k but struggled to make further progress, Genette was at the bottom of the table making slow progress but catching sandy up, the key momemt was with 3 mins to go Genette got the break back and played out with 2.5k to take the first game 2.Mark opened with a nice 4k break and Dave made an immediate reply of 6070 leaving Mark to recover the break and play out, game over, great game, Dave was unluckly to meet Mark in killer form tonight. 3.Martin opened well with 3k Phil kept making average breaks but was unable to keep going, Mark was scoring steadily and maintained the small lead until the bar came to the visitors aid. 4.Roy had an uncharacteristically weak start on his home table, Arron was unable to make a telling break leaving Roy to consolidate his lead and then make a 7k play out to give the hosts a chance, with the first 3 games which could have gone either way going the Redhill. 5.Alex opened with 2k and Colin continued his trademark slow start giving the Alex plenty of chances at closing the game out but a nice 6k from Colin gave Alex little time to catch up with Alex on the break, another minute or so would have made the difference but the home side were pleased to see a favourable result here. 6. For Hastings to win we had to play our top man against the break in game 6 but RP was not "Bovered" and played a quality steady game giving Mike 2 chances to make a big break which was declined, when Mike had his third chance the game was, sadly for us, already over. 7. Andy made a steady start opening up a 2k lead, Graham struggled for the whole game which gave Andy his chances at regular intervals, Andy tried hard to return the favour losing breaks totalling 4k+ causing us some concern but the 20 min clock came to his rescue. If the clock had been 17 mins throughout then the home team would have won the first 2 games changing the result drastically, but still good fun as always with RP's army regs cs
