Horns Lodge 2, Plough 3
Kevin Stevens 500, Geoff Fairs 2000 David Croft 2140, Dave Knight 2960 Sam Hall 1670, Darren Newnham 2320 Chris Farrow 2880 Chase Newman 1410 Dave Tiffin 2450 Jan Bithell 1040
Table quite tricky tonight resulting in some very tight, scrappy games. But well done to the Plough. All the best for the rest of the season.

Hassocks A 1 - 4 Laughing Fish
Jenny lost to H Ted beat Andy Dilly lost to Les Derek lost to Ray Pete lost to Jim
Good match in the new venue - I thought the table was playing well in comparison to its old home and there was some solid scoring to support that tonight. Lovely home-made pizzas too!

Only me Saints beat the Phoenix 5-0 Manley Harveys 2750 Nigel Bransby 1340 MH continues his good start to the season
TSO 5150 Adrian White 2230 TSO made use of the break for an early lead. Adrian threatened early with a nice break.
Peter Geal 1150 Jan Hinkins 930
The only pretty thing about this game was Jan. Peter prevailed in a dour struggle.
Bob Ellis 1610 Duncan King 1070 Steady from Bob
Roger Wallbank 1110 Malcolm Fuller 610 Malcolm always in control until a black peg. Saint Youth Academy Graduate rewarded for plugging on.
Thanks t,mill for a very pleasant evening. Whitewashes for the Saints are a rare item these days.

Watermill 1 Bravos 4
Kim 1820 Nikki 1280 Nikki missed the break and both players seemed to struggle Nikki got the break back a few times and could not seem to do anything with it and Kim never got the break back..
Norman 2580 Adam 4330
Norman just got 450 from his opening break and seemed to struggle Adam got the break back and got 2000+ Norman managed to get a break going but just was not his night
Gavin 1600 Richard 1630 Richard got just 600 from his opening break and then got a lead of over a 1000 when he black pegged Gavin like Norman seemed to really struggle especially with the balls at the back of the table. It it finally went down to the last ball both players needed the 100 to win Gavin first too soft then Richard misses then Gavin plays it too hard and it comes back out finally Richard gets it and wins by 30
Paul 1090 Lyn 2520
No hiding it I played rubbish and Lyn played very well and deserved to win she seemed to score on every visit and got one break of 1000+
Martin 2130 Paul 3120
This was a game that could have gone either way Paul broke off with 1000+ and Martin kept in touch but Paul managed to get another small break towards the end which won him the game probably the best game off the night. Thanks to Gavin behind the par for the food much appreciated
