A brief reminder to team captains that some of these matches may clash with the Redhill Team Invitation Competition which is being played on Sunday 26th January.... so it may be worth considering re-arranging these games in advance to avoid too many postponements.

Oh dear Worthing B soundly beaten by an Eastbourne side who thoroughly deserved their victory. A lovely spread of hot dogs and pizza, well played lads. And to add to Molloys woos United lose. Result card for Littlehampton v Hastings
Paul Olver 8820 v 2460 Andy Eldridge Alan Messer 5160 v 3290 Phil Osborne Dave Hampton 2910 v 8900 Colin Southouse Dave Simmonds 3220 v 2240 Nick Speight Bill Harrison 2340 v 2920 Dave White Simon Chant 7410 v 1590 Sandy Harmer Steve Beech 8930 v 290 Roy Harmer
Littlehampton win 5-2
1.Paul opened with 3.5k Andy struggled to make a telling break, another 3k from Paul was enough to seal the game, Andy played out with 2k 2.Alan and Phil both had plenty of chances to make a good score, Alan had the holes on his side and did enough to keep Phil off the table for the major part of the game. 3.Colin opened with a steady 8.5K and tuck to leave Dave no time to catch up 4.Dave was off early giving newbie Nick a chance but he only managed to open up 1K lead. Both players struggled but a nice 2k near the end was enough to nick the game 5.Dave was off early leaving bill to get an early lead, but a lost 2.5k from Bill gave Dave a glimmer of hope and a small break put him in front at the right time. 6.Sandy was off early leaving Simon to make a few breaks to easily take the game and match helped by Sandy 4 timing on a catching up break. 7.Steve opened with 3.5k Roy struggled to get the balls down leaving Steve to take the last game.
A match the Hastings team again found ways to loose games that should have been won. I'll have get another supply of silly tablets cause we've used the current supply up tonight
Some nice food at the end to help us enjoy our trip home bit more

Brighton B 3-4 Mid Sussex A **A.Brackenridge 5420 - 1990 L.Hall S.Hall 4530 - 4800 D.Taylor** - desperate luck for Sandra as she was on a 4k break chasing down Derek's score when the bar went at 16.20 M.Baden 530 - 11,220 H.Brooks** - Henry was off very early but Michelle just couldn't get the balls back, Henry pulled right away **B.Stoner 500 - 6360 AFW - Pivotal leg, Andy taking full advantage of a Bella peg M.Knight 5090 - 9530 A.Bateup** - other than a wild first break shot, Adam gave me no chance compiling an excellent 9k+ break M.Chipman 9410 - 2490 R.Hall** - excellent win against the break from Captain Chipman **J.Brackenridge 8260 - 2750 P.Edwards - only thing left was whether Jean could beat the Marcus score....not quite Well done to Mid Sussex on their win, damage being done early on, makes things tight at the bottom, shame about the 16-17 minute bar. Excellent cottage pie for the hungry and greedy
