Glynde Club 5 - 0 Plough Colin Southouse 1410 v 870 Fenella Fisher Mike Daw 3420 v 2080 Ros Appleby Chris Turner 4960 v 3800 Chase Newman Sandy Harmer 5690 v 1290 Trevor Appleby Nigel Pead 3320 v 2410 Geoff Fairs Fenella struggled with the table as did Colin(after the lord mayors show ) I can only describe the table as Horrible when 20 mins earlier it was fine. Plenty of ribbing from my team mates and well deserved it was. Mike made a 2k going left handed as did the rest of the Glynde team from here on, Ros kept in the chase but was unable to match Mike. Chris opened a good early lead against the other full time left breaker Chase, but a nice 3k mid way gave Chase a commanding 2k lead, Chris remained undaunted and made his own 3.3k break to the bar to take the 3rd Game. Sandy was in good form (nice to see him play confidently again)with a couple of 2ks during the game to leave the last minute stand in Trevor too much to do. Geoff was off early leaving Nigel to take an early lead. Geoff Played steadily and overtook Nigel, again Nigel buckled down and fought back with a small break at the bar, enough to take the first Glynde 5-0 result to date, Well done Glynde and to top it off The new set of 4-pin mushrooms were on display at the end for a bit of fun with Fenella Ros and the glynde team Nice chilli and rice from Dave again, Still cant understand the Table? regs cs
