Div 2 now all depends on the last game littlehampton just need to win at Horsham to take the title, a loss opens the gate to the other 3 teams on 10 points . Hastings need a 7-0 at Eastbourne to give them a chance. Redhill b can leapfrog all with a predicted 7-0 walk over and better away win at Worthing b than littlehampton and Worthing b have a mathematical chance if they get a 7-0 home win thanks to a high player average
A great season of div 2 matches so far, all played in good spirit,am looking forward to the final game and good luck to all the participants

In the interests of clarity of purpose, will the missing Div 2 result be declared before the final series of games this weekend? It would be unfair to leave the league table in its current form with so many different scenarios possible.

Unfortunately Eastbourne couldn`t raise a team to play away at Redhill B According to BB Warrior, Redhill B get given the match 7-0 & 2 points. This makes the top of the table look like this: Games Won Points Redhill B 37 12 Littlehampton 37 10 Hastins 33 10 Worthing B 30 10

It would be unfair to leave the league table in its current form with so many different scenarios possible. It would of been nice if the Inter league secretary had been informed that the Eastbourne team could not fulfil their fixture against Redhill B. Especially as three weeks ago he emailed both captains to ask when their match could be played!

Unfortunately Eastbourne couldn`t raise a team to play away at Redhill B According to BB Warrior, Redhill B get given the match 7-0 & 2 points. Actually, it's more according to the following SCBBA Rule (rather than me!) that Redhill B would be awarded the match.... "MAIN" COMPETITION - HOME & AWAY BASIS
5. Teams failing to fulfil an Inter-League fixture other than owing to extreme circumstances such as bad weather shall have the match awarded against them 7 games to nil. Eastbourne are therefore relegated this season and Redhill B will be promoted if they win their final match, a shame that both of these could happen as a result of a rule rather than an actual match played.

Further to this games won and lost would look like this as Redhill B will get a 7-0, as sure this is the next criteria after points,
Redhill B 37-26 Littlehampton 37-26 Hastings 33-30 Worthing B 30-33

Hastings lost 4-3 to Eastbourne tonight on the worst table imaginable and I can imagine quite a lot,Chris and I levelled it up after the match as both of us thought it was an embarrassment,a least the lewes match tomorrow will be a bit fairer Hastings will have to wait till next year to gain promotion to Div 1 Regs cs have heard a nasty rumour about what happened to the table but I dare not say it here

Seems to me like you're jumping the gun, as the Interleague Secretary would be the one to confirm the awarding of any match by default. As I understand it, Worthing B are the only ones so far to have attained 12pts, which guarantees them either first or second, so congratulations to them.

Worthing C 2 Lewes 5 C.Green 4490 D.Knight 5190 Not sure if I'm remembering right, but didn't people decide Dave's score had been written down wrong, and should have been 5910 rather than 5190, because his opening break was more than that?

The Sussex website has recently been updated and it seems that all final positions have now been resolved. So we can say congratulations to Redhill B on winning Division Two, with the resultant promotion. And congratulations also to Billingshurst, runners-up to Lewes in Division Three.

Yes, I received confirmation over the weekend of the final series results and that the cancelled game had been awarded 7-0 to Redhill B who are therefore Division 2 winners this year. I am now in the process of updating the overall Inter League records and hope to have this completed by the end of the week.
