Hello everyone, it`s that time of year again when I need your League entries in please. If you have an entry form, please ignore the entry fee because it was increased at the AGM to £50 per team. The sooner you get these in to me, the sooner we can formulate this seasons Divisions.
Thankyou

Has a date been set yet for the start of the new season?
Also, has a date and venue been agreed for the Masters Competition?

Any reason to why Romans haven't been promoted, bit confused as we won Division 2 last season?

Hi Ross,I"m really pleased but surprised to hear that your team wanted to go up. The difficulty we had in formulating the Divisions this year was because there was no team we could relegate from Div 1 as the White Hart B haven"t entered a side. There is also a new team from the Smugglers, who are too strong we felt for Div 2. Looking at your team entry, I see you have the same players as last season and because you don"t win that Division every year, plus the fact we heard nothing about you wanting to go up, are the reasons we chose to leave you where you are. There is a change in the break rule for Divs 1 & 2 also this season. If you'd gone up, you would have had to give all 5 breaks away to your Div 2 opponents. Hope that answers your question Ross

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your feedback really appreciate it, taking your information into consideration I do completely understand. It's just a shame we couldn't get promoted, you're definitely correct in thinking some of our players probably wouldn't want to go up, me myself I would of enjoyed the challenge and it would only make myself a better player. I enjoy playing for The Romans as you know I play with family so I wouldn't leave. Thank you for your reply, see you soon.
