Blue Anchor A 2-3 Blue Anchor B Rick 3910 - 9590 Brian** Mal 1650 - 8870 Dave** Molly 5360 - 3230 Bob** Matt 7290 - 5650 Rev** TJ 6770 - 8250 Pete** Weird match, after two legs we were two down and looked completely out of it, then halfway through the fifth and TJ was on a 6k break thought we would scrape home but once TJ was off Pete Hickman played out to the bar with a match winning break of 7.9k the highest of the night to give the 'Bees' the win, well done to him .....and them on their victory

At least the last three matches now read 13 legs lost and two won, a stop to the run of 5 nils. Jersey next week so have had to cancel Wednesdays game against the Duke of Wellington, with four of us going on the Tuesday.

Result follows for Horse & Groom v Railway Club. Home team first.
Stuart Matthews 370 v Sheena Wood 2450 Peter Gwilliam 3990 v Zoe Stoner 850 Greg Walsh 960 v Kim Hurley 2300 Paul Bramhall 3670 v Colin Hunnisett 980 Mark Buckle 2480 v Brian Muggeridge 6900
As per normal, loads of banter, and a loud enjoyable night. Also we think this was Peter's highest score, with a good Winter League debut from Stuart.
In the last and deciding leg, two good players strutted their stuff. Brian had the break and chalked up over 3000 before coming back for more. Someone will bang in a big score on the table. I just hope I don't have to score it!

Wellie 2 - Hikers A 3
Not a bad result for the Wellie considering that I had to play to 4.
Nick had a close game with Sandra. Was 100 behind, on the break, bar gone, needing to play the one up to stand a chance. He left both up. 0-1
Garry had a better game against (Sorry I didn't catch his name). 1-1
I started OK against Alan and had a small lead when I somehow managed to take the black peg out going for a ball by the left 20. I managed to get a 2k break to pull back but Alan ended up winning by 2k+ 1-2
Tim went off well to start with against Bella. At this point in the evening to music had gone from loud to strange and loud and more people decided they wanted to walk behind the players. this happen to Bella more than Tim who ended up winning with the highest score of the night, just under 5k. 2-2
No player for Kev to beat so 2-3
