WOW!!! Excellent result to start the season. I think that we probably had the 'run of the green' on the night. That however doesn't detract from Mossy's supreb win in his first game chasing down Mark's opening break of 8910 to win on the last ball. In their second game Mark had a 'whipper' out of the left hand 50 pocket on the break which went straight through the black peg while chasing Mossy's opening break of over 5k. Colin did very well in his first game, although struggling kept his opening break going for nine minutes to make about 5k.

A fair start for us with two excellent wins for Steve against Debbie, tapping on with winning scores in both cases. Stacky played well against an out-of-form Turbo and Matt lost a reasonable break in the fifth after I showed him how to get the break! Table was playing very well after it's overhaul last week and a new set of balls after one of the old set went walkabout. At least it's not being moved anymore and the landlord went mad with some parents in the week who were letting their lovely kids walk about on the table! First night sharing the room with the new Ladies dart team who seemed friendly enough if a bit noisy..... Tony

Check the local pool tables, that's where they usually end up !
