We didn't really do a good table much justice last night with most of us struggling to hold a break together. Maxi went behind the black to win the last against a luckless Steve. Good sociable night with old friends (apart from my own team who seemed to spend all night watching England on t'telly at the other end of the room! ) Tony

Kennington SC 4-2 Bletch Ian Gordon 8850 - 2520 Geoff Powell Keith Hollis 2310 - 3640 Dave Barnes Mark Trafford 13,130 - 720 Pete Soanes Ian Gordon 70 - 7490 Geoff Powell Keith Hollis 8100 - 840 Dave Barnes Mark Trafford 17,120 - 0 Pete Soanes Breaks - Ian Gordon 6,430 Mark Trafford 6,280 & 17,120 Geoff Powell 7,250 Keith Hollis 5k Ian played a steady game in the first going off with his break of 6k, Geoff got the break straight back but came off early and Ian got a bit more to get the win. In their 2nd, Geoff lost his opening break of nearly 5k, Ian had 1 shot, then Geoff got them back to get his score of 7k before tapping up as the bar went. Keith was his usual rubbish self in the first after deciding to play a snooker game beforehand! Dave just scraping it. Keith made amends in the 2nd with a 5k break, although this was not his opener. I came off after 4k in the first to give Pete a chance but retrieved the balls first and got a 6k break to seal the win. Pete then missed both balls on his break and i got them straight back and run the table out for the 17k (Sorry Pete). Table playing lovely, getting there at least! Great evening with plenty of laughs and a good score in the footy! Sorry again for the bad language coming from the bar!

Kennington SC 4-2 Bletch Keith was his usual rubbish self in the first after deciding to play a snooker game beforehand! Sorry again for the bad language coming from the bar! Considering both of you spent the whole of my game at the bar watching the footy I think this is totally unfair to blame my snooker game earlier. I had a practice on the table, simple fact was I messed up early on a break and then spent the whole game trying to shift difficult balls behind 50's to try and get the break back. Dave just kept on leaving in awkward places and the luck I had earlier just continued into this match.
