Springbok SC 2 Limeburners 3
R Burgess 6200 M Davies 2150
Poor Mark was suffering from one heck of a cold and this made the going even tougher for him. He left the break up short twice to let Robin storm ahead with breaks that included one of 4.5K. Mark rallied late on, but time got the better of him.
T Goacher 1550 C Sawyer 3500
Chip flew out of the blocks only to leave an awkward ball which he missed. I then fluffed my chance, but only for Chip to blow another decent score. I then did the same, losing 2K and that was about it. A scrappy affair.
B Hicks 1990 R Dewdney 5410
Rick took an early lead and looked comfortable. Bill hit back wit some decent shots, but not quite reaching Rick's score. Rick put together another break at the death to seal the win.
G Marshall 5330 K Vickery 650
Ken did not get to grips with the break and Gary took advanage, though he too struggled early on. Gary eventually got in tune with the table to even up the match.
T Goacher (4 player rule) 1640 B Hammond 2340
Bill started strongly leaving me to chase his starting score. I eventually made some in roads, but like my previous game struggled to get going. Bill continued to play steady to claim the game for the Burners.
Pleasant night with the Billingshurst boys, decent grub to finish

Thanks Barney, both still dosed up but hopefully now over the worst. Vicky would have been our last one but it's a busy time of the year for her, which enabled Dad to invoke the four-player rule and show off rather !

Dun Horse BFZ Roffey 5 No scores as I was in Brighton on a jolly lol also heard Southwater win 4=1 @ The Compasses I think we probably should have joined you Foxy....! Anyway, here are the scores..... Scott Hope 2350 Dick Cable 5020 Dave Simmons 4910 Pete Fisher 4960 Stuart Hope 3420 Lee Cable 5730 Colin Bolton 1170 Glynn Owen 8400 Grant Hope 2470 Dave Howlett 3840 Game 1: Strange game with both players 4-breaking and losing 2k Scott opened out a lead only to watch Dementia overtake towards the end. Game 2: Cracking game with both players matching each other. Dave opened out a 1500 lead, Pete the Fish played out and won on the 100. Game 3: Bit of a recurring theme here... Moose let Pops in front then overtook towards the end. Game 4: Glynn on fire tonight, kicked off with 3.5k then followed with another 4k. Colin not getting his £1's worth tonight! Game 5: Same old story, Twiggy came good at the end. Two total losers tonight, The Dun Horse and Peggy Sue! A woodwork free night. Usual fun with Roffey tonight despite the result.
