Before I begin. The missus is pestering me to see a new film at the cinema in a couple of weeks "50 shades of grey". As I am intrigued I have started to research. So the match report tonight to get me in the mood is in that style. Mont 3-2 Romans M Scott 7700 - 980 A Mepham - Alan only managed to tickle a few balls before Moppy started to assert his dominant side and Alan managed to remember the code word "red" without potting it. S Burns 490 - 1790 P Alymore - Really close game without either man really getting on top. A bit of "Nip and tuck" before steve impaled himself on the BLACK. Didn't really recover and Pete seized control. G Mechan 5850 - 4920 R Pettiford - Game started very slow with both players feeling each other out. Then Ross exerted pressure and Gary was wearing the "Petticoat". Eventually when 4k up Ross had hit his peak and quickly came off the table. Gary seized control and made sure all Ross was getting was a wet dream. Gary inflicting Ross' first submission of the season. D Robins 2740 - 1970 D Roberts - " Dave on Dave ", my eyes were hurting at this one with both parties trying to play the submissive. Was close but Robert broke first losing a match winning break. DJ jumped at the chance and sunk his balls to get the call. B Mechan 1590 - 2690 T Hunt - Toni remained on top as Bob never had 2 balls in his hand all night. She applied the right pinch at all the right times in all the right places. Great night at the Mont with loads of voyeurs and chicken wings to finish .

I'm still laughing from reading the report from Racehorse.... I won't try to compete with that as he clearly has far more experience of that sort of thing! Ye Olde Black Horse 2 Albion Fishersgate 3 Ian Lelliott 9,910 - 6,380* Dave Ingram I broke down on just under 6k when I suddenly pushed the one up behind, Ian got the balls straight back and never looked like missing before he touched on 9.5k. 1-0 Nigel Senior 5,640* - 150 Steve Mariner Nigel pegged his opening 8k break, Steve first to get the balls back and promptly pegged his first split shot as well.... Nigel made 3.5k and then got them back at the end to make sure. 2-0 Marcus Chipman 3,630 - 9,590* Glenn Chubb Excellent opening 9k break from Glenn to give Marcus no chance. 2-1 Gareth Lloyd 6,230* - 8,660 Jim Millward Gareth looked comfortable until he caught a split thin on 6k and left both balls up, Jim first to get them back and made sure with a very good 8k break to square the match. 2-2 Chris Reeves 3,290 - 5,660* Geoff Jukes Geoff pegged his opening break and Chris first to get the balls back but then came off on just over 3k, Geoff made sure with a good 5k break to take the win. 2-3 Plenty of good competitive games played with the usual friendly banter between the teams.... great spread of pizza, garlic bread and a big bowl of chips to end an enjoyable evening.

Blue Anchor A 3-2 Hikers Rest A Rick 2180 - 13,750 Kev H** **Mal 10,120 - 2640 Kev S TJ 6490 - 6960 Alan** **Matt 9860 - 3300 Sandra Molly 6020 - 1200 Bella** My 'interesting' report is themed to thank goodness we won because the pliers??!! that were found inside the table that stopped the balls coming back in the first leg would have been used to remove some b****s if we had lost this one, after last week High breaks 13,300 Chunky, Silent 9310, Mal 8120 - leg 3 was a thriller TJ 3.7 in front, Alan 4k+ in 3 and a bit minutes to win
