Here are my predictions.... (2,700) Plough v Glynde Club (4,800) The current leaders will be hoping plough their way to victory to maintain their challenge but won't find it easy having to give away more than 2k away from home. A 3-2 home win looks possible to me. (2,500) Cock'n'Balls v Black Horse (2,800) The high flying stallions will be hoping to continue their good run with a win away to the bottom team, not much to choose in the handicaps so they shouldn't find the going too hard as the canter away to a 3-2 win. (2,500) Hospital Club v Laughing Fish W (3,100) The Fish swim down to the coast for a re-match of their most recent League game, which they lost 3-2. With the handicap against them, I can't see them improving on that with the Doctors handing out a repeat prescription of medicine to gain a 3-2 win. (4,700) Laughing Fish K v Hikers Rest (4,800) It's always a close match when these two teams meet and the draw will be far more significant than the handicap! The home team has been on a good run of form recently whereas the visitors have tripped over their boots in their last 2 away matches.... a 3-2 home win will leave the Kippers giggling. Albion Hollingbury (3,400) have a bye this week. Two things are certain this week.... the Holingbury will slip down the table a few places and it will be the quietest Monday heard in Sussex for several months!

Plough v Glynde Club - normally a very good table at the Plough which I think improves the chances of the away team and their very nice captain (normally repeating things loses you a point, but Sir Dave will be in such a good mood I will get a bonus point for this) so I am going for an away win 2-3 Cock'n'Balls v Black Horse - nice to see most of the friendly team from the Cock at the Captains Cup last week. The Black Horse have the best captain in the League (well he beat me.......) so a good encounter on the cards but fancy the Horses giving away that small handicap away win 1-4 Hospital Club v Laughing Fish W - recent form saw a home win so as it is Cheltenham coming up, I'll go for the form being 'upheld' 3-2 home win Laughing Fish K v Hikers Rest - with the massive handicap advantage for the Fish K and their excellent form (and some fine recent 'reserves') I go for a 4-1 home win. Dave can have a night off from smashing out the results/stats and just 'smash' some poor Hiker on the table....probably Jean who 'always gets a terrible draw'....Poor old Kev Stoner (and Bella) fresh from scoring less over two legs than daughter and non-playing ex landlady at his old pub (in Bournemouth Pairs).....WOEFUL The quiet team have a bye but I have heard on the grapevine that poor old Martin Cole and the Smugglers in Worthing are lining up the earplugs for the Sussex Captains Cup match taking place tomorrow night ....so you are all safe in East Sussex

Plough v Glynde 2100 start for the Plough The glynde club with 2 players spending most of the weekend playing Bbs will just have enough match time to take the homies and witness a 3-2 away win Cock v Black horse 300 start for the cock, The homies will be frantic trying to unsaddle the black horse but to no avail another 3-2 away win The Hospital v w's the 600 point start for the hospital should be too much for the visitors, regarding henry as the main target to vanquish for the best possible result offset by familiarity with the new table for the guests will change the expected 4-1 to 3-2 home win K's V Hikers 100 start for the visitors, the conversation will all be about the draw tonight, can the visitors come away with a win to stall the Ks chances of the double, an optimistic 3-2 away win depending on the assembled stars on show for the hosts with the albion standing down tonight silent will need to take extraordinary measures to come up with plenty of bonus points to maintain pressure on the other tipsters regs cs PS spot the theme if you can if anyone else spots it feel free to post, I'm sure the wc will Welcome Comment

Plough will not overcome the Glynde and I predict a 3-2 away win, Thge Glynde captain on a high after his exploits in Bournemouth along with his partner Phil will lead the way to victory.
The Cock has not been crowing in this competition and the Horse are really on the gallops so I think they will come away with a 4-1 away victory and there will be no need for a photo finish.
Hospital Club table has had a make over and has recovered, home team advantage will mean the Laughing Ws will be swimming against the tide and a 4-1 home win.
Laughing Fish K are resurgent on their home top and the Hikers will have had a long back pack so I see the home team cruising to a 4-1 win.
Hollingbury have a bye so the captain will have time to rest those vocal chords ready for his other games this week all I can say is whoa betide those poor opponents and team mates this week.

Time to do some marking here.... (2,700) Plough v Glynde Club (4,800) The current leaders will be hoping plough their way to victory to maintain their challenge but won't find it easy having to give away more than 2k away from home. A 3-2 home win looks possible to me. A couple of last ball wins gave the leaders a fantastic 5-0 away win so no points for the result here for me... but a barely earned bonus point for humour plus 2 bonus points for being very kind and bringing Gandalf's cue back from Bournemouth after he had left it there at the weekend! (2,500) Cock'n'Balls v Black Horse (2,800) The high flying stallions will be hoping to continue their good run with a win away to the bottom team, not much to choose in the handicaps so they shouldn't find the going too hard as the canter away to a 3-2 win. The visiting horses got stuck in the stalls losing the first 3 games so no points for the result, just a bonus point for topical humour. Urgent bed rest needed for the medical staff after a 3-2 home defeat meaning another prediction incorrect.... a bonus point only to sweeten the taste of the medicine for me. Well, there were chances in every game but a 4-1 home win means just 1 point for me plus a bonus for humour. Albion Hollingbury (3,400) have a bye this week. Two things are certain this week.... the Holingbury will slip down the table a few places and it will be the quietest Monday heard in Sussex for several months! Spot on for the number of places dropped in the table and East Sussex was certainly quieter.... I suspect the West Sussex was much louder than normal though! 2 bonus points here. Very HappySilent next.... Plough v Glynde Club - normally a very good table at the Plough which I think improves the chances of the away team and their very nice captain (normally repeating things loses you a point, but Sir Dave will be in such a good mood I will get a bonus point for this) so I am going for an away win 2-3 What on earth makes you think that I am in a good mood? A point for the away win and a bonus point for your explanation as to why you felt that the away team would win.... but repetitive grovelling loses you a point this time! Cock'n'Balls v Black Horse - nice to see most of the friendly team from the Cock at the Captains Cup last week. The Black Horse have the best captain in the League (well he beat me.......) so a good encounter on the cards but fancy the Horses giving away that small handicap away win 1-4 A 3-2 away win means no point for the result.... a sympathy point awarded after your defeat to the "best captain" in the League last week and a bonus point to Ric for doing it! Hospital Club v Laughing Fish W - recent form saw a home win so as it is Cheltenham coming up, I'll go for the form being 'upheld' 3-2 home win I guess that I won't be asking you for any tips later this week then! No points for the result but a bonus awarded for a good topical comment at this time of year. Laughing Fish K v Hikers Rest - with the massive handicap advantage for the Fish K and their excellent form (and some fine recent 'reserves') I go for a 4-1 home win. Dave can have a night off from smashing out the results/stats and just 'smash' some poor Hiker on the table....probably Jean who 'always gets a terrible draw'....Poor old Kev Stoner (and Bella) fresh from scoring less over two legs than daughter and non-playing ex landlady at his old pub (in Bournemouth Pairs).....WOEFUL Spot on with the prediction for 3 points plus a humour bonus. The quiet team have a bye but I have heard on the grapevine that poor old Martin Cole and the Smugglers in Worthing are lining up the earplugs for the Sussex Captains Cup match taking place tomorrow night ....so you are all safe in East Sussex Definitely worth a bonus point.... plus another bonus point for winning your Sussex Captains Cup match. Well done. Silent - 10 minus 1 = 9 points Ric Bithell - 1 point

Gandalf next.... Plough v Glynde 2100 start for the Plough The glynde club with 2 players spending most of the weekend playing Bbs will just have enough match time to take the homies and witness a 3-2 away win The Hastings Hobbits were on great form at the weekend and continued this as they won 5-0, surely they must win the League Cup now? A point for predicting the away win and a bonus point for winning the Bournemouth Pairs Plate competition. Cock v Black horse 300 start for the cock, The homies will be frantic trying to unsaddle the black horse but to no avail another 3-2 away win A 3-2 home win means no point for the result, a topical bonus point awarded though. The Hospital v w's the 600 point start for the hospital should be too much for the visitors, regarding henry as the main target to vanquish for the best possible result offset by familiarity with the new table for the guests will change the expected 4-1 to 3-2 home win A 3-2 away win means no points here. K's V Hikers 100 start for the visitors, the conversation will all be about the draw tonight, can the visitors come away with a win to stall the Ks chances of the double, an optimistic 3-2 away win depending on the assembled stars on show for the hosts Yes, you were optimistic with your result prediction! Just a bonus point awarded here.... although I am not really sure why? with the albion standing down tonight silent will need to take extraordinary measures to come up with plenty of bonus points to maintain pressure on the other tipsters One thing is for sure.... you can always rely on Silent to have something to say! I will give you a bonus point here as Silent always says that you are a very nice person! PS spot the theme if you can if anyone else spots it feel free to post, I'm sure the wc will Welcome Comment My initial thought was that possibly you had a Cheltenham racing theme here.... but it didn't seem to continue through all of the posts so I am not sure that is right. A bonus point awarded for the theme beating me.... and further bonuses could be available if others can spot what it is? Gandalf - 6 points

BigTJ is next.... Plough will not overcome the Glynde and I predict a 3-2 away win, Thge Glynde captain on a high after his exploits in Bournemouth along with his partner Phil will lead the way to victory. A point for the correct result... plus a bonus point awarded. The Cock has not been crowing in this competition and the Horse are really on the gallops so I think they will come away with a 4-1 away victory and there will be no need for a photo finish. The Cock rose to the occasion well and took a good 3-2 home win.... no points for the result but a topical bonus point awarded. Hospital Club table has had a make over and has recovered, home team advantage will mean the Laughing Ws will be swimming against the tide and a 4-1 home win. All of the tipsters fell at this fence.... just a solitary bonus point awarded. Laughing Fish K are resurgent on their home top and the Hikers will have had a long back pack so I see the home team cruising to a 4-1 win. Spot on with the result for 3 points... plus a bonus. Hollingbury have a bye so the captain will have time to rest those vocal chords ready for his other games this week all I can say is whoa betide those poor opponents and team mates this week. Does he ever rest them...?? Definitely worth a bonus point. BigTJ - 9 points

It looks like Little Legs only had time for a late entry.... No points here with the League Cup leaders marching to a 5-0 away win. No points here either with the Cock crowing and the Horse stumbling to a 3-2 defeat. A 3-2 away win means no points here either.... And a 4-1 home win completes your 100% entry.... no points! I think that is the first time that we have had a completely unsuccessful entry in the Tipsters Competition.... so that has to be worth a couple of bonus points in sympathy and you did win your game last night! Little Legs - 2 points

That just leaves JB to mark..... But where is her entry....? Oh well, I will give her a point just so she knows that we haven't forgotten her.... even though she has obviously forgotten to do the Tipsters this week! JB - 1 point

Yes, well done Colleen for working that one out..... 1 point for each of the 5 Harrison Ford films correctly identified, 3 points for working out the link and an extra point for each of the other film titles spotted among Gandalf's post... plus a bonus point for being a smarta**e and another bonus point (just because I am bias!) which gives you a total of 12 points!
