Nigel and Marcus beat Rob and myself 2 1 tonight.
We won the first and were 4k up in the second before Nigel played a super 4.5 break to pull level and they won a 3rd scrappy frame.
Good luck in the semi-final.

Well done to Steve and Mark on making the final, beating Kev Hall and myself on the night, the high break on the night I believe was about 3.5k, and even when somebody looked as though they were about to get going the table bit you up the bum, but that said the two who mastered the table the better deservedly got through and I wish them both good luck in the final, I went along as the minnow and take pride in reaching the semi-finals.

Colleen & I beat Toni & Matt 2-1 in a very close game at YO Black Horse tonight. We established a nice 5.5k lead in the first game before Matt got the break back, he was going well and caught our score only to take a peg out just before the bar dropped to give us the first leg. 1-0 The second leg was all about Toni, she started with a good opening break of nearly 2k and then proceeded to get the break back every time she went to the table while the rest of us simply watched her.... certainly the best game I have ever seen Toni play. 1-1 The decider was a nervy affair, Colleen started with about 600 and Toni off at the same sort of score. The balls stayed at the back for quite a long time after that and Colleen & I built up a lead of about 1.5k before I got the balls back.... only to muck up my split shot and come off. Matt played a couple of good shots and got the break back but caught his second split thin and took out the peg. Colleen made a good 2k break to seal the win for us near the end. 2-1 Many thanks to Lana for scoring and to the venue who kindly provided us with pizzas and roast potatoes.

Well done to Colleen and Dave and good luck in the final (although perhaps you used a little tonight) Toni was on fire in the 2nd leg, it was just a shame the muppet of the 4 got himself in a position to win the first and third legs and failed......miserably ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In the under 25s Lana and Lucy played their semi-final tonight as Lucy not available on finals night. The first leg was very close with Lucy needing the 200 to win and narrowly missing, Lana sinking the 100 to win. Leg two was a different story with Lana playing very well, giving Lucy little chance and taking her place in the final. Playing 2 legs and then scoring 3 in a row, I'll never hear the last of it
