Oh thanks.. Nice to see you arranging it for when I'm on holiday. I made every effort to attend the AGM. And now I'm not going to get a vote at the EGM?? What a joke... Too many cry babies. Time for change.

I know at least two committee members who know nothing about this EGM. Why am I not surprised.

Agm was held, decision was made. You can't have an egm that allows a counter proposal, that's bullocks. If that happens why bother with an agm.
I agree with members voting on how the new system works but not to vote against it.
Sort it out my chairman and Secretary.

An egmis to ratify or vote on a specific point.if the egm was to vote on the format then fine. It's not its to vote on how to implement the format passed,at the AGM.
If this isn't the case, anarchy will rein. A precedent of allowing am egm to be called to vote against any agm decision. Good f'ing luck for future years.

I might be wrong, but, I seem to remember the closing comments from the top table being, we will call a meeting of the new committee very soon to discuss the format. I don't remember any mention of an egm.....

EGM due to take place on 15th July has been cancelled.
The OBBA committee will decide on playing format for the new proposal..4 singles 2 pairs. This proposal was passed at the AGM and will stand.
Will update. Pete

Eynsham & Summer leagues both start at 8.30 and finish in plenty of time..... Most wins will be for singles games only

it was a question asked above so thought they would be discussed.cant see how you can do most wins when teams have five players signed on. as they will need to rotate teams.think it should be done away with. .

Unfortunately Ian, the situation now is that teams have 4 players and reserves. A lot of people don't like it (including me, Pete and Richard) but it's an AGM decision and we are going to have to go with it.
