We played our semi at the Roffey last night and had a thoroughly enjoyable night with the Springbok lads, thank you to the club for what I am told was a very good sausage casserole.
All games even break. Albion B Sprinbok.
Game 1 Gary missed his first break, Terry Molloy open with 6k+ and that kept him in front throughout. 7490 - 1220 1-0
Game 2 Pete Hickman off at 1.5k, Bill missed the break, Pete added another 1k and then they both struggled to get the break back, and till Pete did so and added another 4k 7810 - 960 2-0
Game 3 Surprisingly Robin missed both on the break, I got 3.5k, Robin came back with 2k, and was first back in and then unfortunately pegged about 2k and gave me the break back and I thank fully took the chance 5790 - 3890 3-0
Gme 4 TJ opened with 5k, Robin off at 1k and then it was a comedy of errors. 5980 - 2370 4-0
Game 5 Gary opened with nothing, James Whittle 450 leaving first one up short. Bits and pieces added and close with about 2 minutes left when James got the break back and made sure 4780 - 2180.
We certainly had the run of the balls, plenty of banter and a very sporting team from the Springbok made for a very good evening.

Railway 4 White Hart Littlehampton 1 Skippy 5,420 K Tunstall 4,210 Kevin taking an early 2K lead, Adam coming back at the end to take the game.
Clacky 3,410 Nipper 2,450 I had an outrageous bit of luck fluking the red into the 200, decent chap would have been embarrassed...Hmmm
Dave Howlett 3,390 Jim 5,760 Jim in imperious form, once he got going he made it look easy.
Skippy/Clacky 4,070 Jim/Nipper2,530 Jim unable to keep the form going, Adam played very well again.
Dave/Boggy 2,640 Kevin/Gareth 2,200 Bit of playtime in the dead rubber...not sure this the correct terminology.
Thanks to the Windmill for hosting and a splendid spread of sarnies and chips.
Never follow any tip or bet Junkie places........
Forgot to add, Skippy's new name is 'bowled Broad' cos most Aussies are!
