I have just been given the sad news that Ricky died last night
I have personally known Ricky for over thirty years when I played with him and his father at the Crown Alfold
Details of the funeral will be advised when known

Sad news, I also knew Ricky for some 30 odd years. Played for a year with him at the Burners, nice man, always good company never had a cross word with him. A sad loss.

That is indeed an awful shock. I remember Ricky starting out in the same team as his dad Norman, who lived into his nineties. He was a gentle-natured guy and stood out as a good player for his mastery of the reverse break. Another who will be sadly missed. RIP Ricky, our thoughts are with those you leave behind.

A and tragic event that has left his family and friends devastated. Ricky was a decent fella who would do anything for anyone at anytime, he will be missed both on the billiard circuit and around Alfold. Thoughts with his wife Catherine, daughter Rachel, plus all the family.

Just like to let you all know that Rickys funeral will be on; Friday 4th December, Alfold Church, at 11.30 am. Those of you that would like to come and pay your respects please do, and thank you all for your kind messages at this difficult time.
