Oracle 4-2 Royal Oak Ian Gordon 11,740 - 260 Brian Swanson Mark Trafford 3830 - 4240 Thomas Ellis-Rees Keith Hollis 7090 - 3010 Terry Cook Ian Gordon 9560 - 790 Brian Swanson Mark Trafford 3160 - 6480 Thomas Ellis-Rees Keith Hollis 7330 - 1030 Terry Cook Ian breaks - 5510, 6090 & 8970 Table has settled in quite nicely considering it had only been in there for 3 days! Ian played it extremely well - just wondering where this Ian has been on a Thursday night all season Keith won both by getting plenty of chances with 2-3 breaks in each game to accumulate score. As for my games, Thomas played steady in both just pipping me in the first after i had lost a break. To use a footballing phrase, i was ok in training, just wasn't quite "match-fit" making just silly errors! Still our first win of the season and first in our new home - the only way is up!

Bletchington 2 Lamb & Flag 4 | | | | |

The evening started well when Turbo decided that it was unreasonable of Pete to put a game on so close to Xmas so didn't bother remembering or picking anyone up... We eventually got there at 9pm (thanks to bletch for understanding the concept of care in the community) Geoff started off uncharacteristically badly allowing Steve to take the first before Pete and Andy played well to take the lead. Geoff lost a 6k break in the fourth to again allow Steve in before Tony and Martin remembered what they were there for to take the win for the Flag. Typical post-turkey game.. Great company and great food as ever...
