Charity Cup Match Day 4 (06/12/16) Windmill CC v Roffey H At a loose end tonight, and wanted to rest my eyes from the PC so turned up to see "the big match". Roffey were a no show, very disappointing especially for the home team. No phonecall to anyone's knowledge.

Roffey CC 3, Bull 2.
Ros 3460, Andy 2230. Mick 7320, Lorraine 940. Ian 3920, Derek 6740. Graham 4840, Peter 2400. Paul 5920, Robert 6240.
Replacement clock had a mechanical issue (padlock hasp getting stuck in the handle ratchet). We agreed on 17-minute games, put the £1's in afterwards. Apart from that, all went well: plenty of nice fresh sandwiches to accompany our evening's BB.

Just had a quick look at how things stand....... Bull's defeat has put the cat amongst the pigeons, with FOUR teams in Group One now on 4pts. Bull can still book their place in the Semi-finals, though, if they beat Plough who are rooted to the bottom.
One out of Stout House and Roffey Y will qualify as they play each other in the last game and Roffey CC have finished their programme. Bull could still lose to Plough and qualify but that would very much depend on the Y's beating Stout House.
With Roffey H unable to fulfil their final two fixtures, the Group Two runners-up position will be contested between the two Windmill teams, whilst Limeburners have already secured top spot.
