Game 1 KT broke down on just over 8k, I got the balls back and was on track to catch him until I missed a split on 5.5k and then took out a peg on my recovery shot, Kevin finished the game off. 0-1 Game 2 Chunky off on just over 1k but first to get them back, nothing worked for Nipper at all and Kev grateful to get over the line for the win at the end. 1-1 Game 3 Terry off on just over 6k but no matter what Jim tried he couldn't get the balls back, Terry made sure with another good break towards the end. 1-2 Game 4 Gareth got a huge kick on a break shot at just over 2k and both balls missed the holes, Gerry then had a repeat of Jim's game with nothing going down the holes leaving Gareth to take the win. 2-2 Game 5 Stuart won the toss and was going well until he came off on 4.5k, H had a couple of excursions but kept the break going before touching on 9.5k to seal the win, Stuart unlucky to take out the BP towards the end of the game. 3-2 Some closely fought games, table good at the front end but nearly everybody struggled to get the break back. A couple of nice pizzas that quickly disappeared on a cold evening.

Albion A 3-2 Albion C Geoff 2550 - 11,660 Nigel** **Chubbster 4070 - 1970 Jean Martin 3050 - 2450 Matt** **Mark 7510 - 180 Michelle Ian 1780 - 6060 Tupps** Congratulations to the Albion A on winning the local derby at the Marine View and good luck to them in the semi-final. Nigel's 6.5k in the very first leg was by far the highest opening break of the night and was only threatened for the highest break of the night by Mark later in the evening who made a 5k break second time around. Only one numpty lost with the break Think we left around 11.30pm as the friendly bar billiards chat took hold with a wide variety of opinions and views

Henty 3 - 2 Swan A
*Doug 0860 vs 6720 Joe
Brian 2420 vs 4920 James*
*Colin 3850 vs BP Barry
Roger 5480 vs 0860 Chris
Vern 2190 vs 4780 Bob
Really enjoyable night, thanks for the food ect from white hart
every game could have gone anyway as everyone had the balls back more then once!!!
Doug let me in early i got to 1500 and pegged it, he then got it back and missed again!!! I then got 1ish to just put me in front and then got them back and killed it off with a 4.5k break
Good win James getting the balls back right at the end and touching up on 2k
Colin got the balls back near the end then whipped the 1 ball leaving it left hand side of the 50 hole and the other ball ( was white as the bar went ) left barry 550 behind with 6 balls left
roger kept scoring and Chris kept missing probably the worst performance of all time
Vern and bob both played well bob got a little break to end the game completely

I wonder if the Swan A v Henty result would have been different if they had allocated the breaks in the correct order i.e. the Henty should have had breaks 1 and 3!

No Joe, you put the teams the right way round. The draw above shows the Swan as the Home team, so you should have had breaks 1 and 3.

I'm confused!
According to the draw the swan were the home team and the Henty the away team so....
Game 1 & 3 should be Henty breaks? Game 2 & 4 swan breaks? And toss for 1st break in the 5th?
First proper season in Worthing for a long time so not sure on rules for breaks in the cup matches. (Just rely on my Captain to say your on lol)

I would not call 3-2 a stuffing Mustard. I agree, there was only one 'stuffing' in the game and that was him!!
