Swan Nomads 2 White Hart A 3
Barney 9760 v 960 Chocie- Paul off fairly early but Stu continued his love/hate relationship with the Swan table. Paul made sure next visit Tony B 0 v 16680 Nipper- Martin opened with 5k and added another 11k for good measure Nick B 260 v 12600 Curt- A nice 10k opener for Curt Neil H 10250 v 0 Fitz- Neil off very quickly but Fitz couldn't take advantage. Nice break by Neil next visit Gary R 330 v 10140 KT- I opened with 10k to give Gary no chance

Re-arranged match (played 16/05/2017) Albion C 2-3 Romans C **Matt 4560 - 2000 H - fairly rubbish start from me, I think H was first to get the balls back but off early. I got them straight back but pegged and finally made sure next visit. Henry hasn't had much luck from the table in the two league matches he has played there. Nigel 650 - 9000 Dave** - excellent 5.5k opener from Dave with some very good 50/20s, it did include a split that went straight over the top of the 100 and off the back cushion into the 20 but who remembers those Nige never got them back, Dave did and made sure(ish) next visit Tupps 1890 - 5010 Jim** - Jim was looking good early on with a near 3k start, coming off after firing a split that flew out of the 100 but keeping his score. There were cries of "class" when he got them back again with a nice three ball shot but in missing gave Tupps a chance late on, getting the break back but not able to claw back the deficit. Jim made sure next visit **Michelle 2700 - 3340 Kev - Michelle a very good opener of over 3k which she sadly lost when missing ball near the 30 She got the lead out to over 2k with about 3 minutes to go, but Chunk got the balls back and made enough, with a scare or two on the way Jean 4760 - 3860 Grant** - Like the first leg, scrappy early on but Grant built a lead that he kept until the last few minutes when Jean got the break back and made a very good break for the win Excellent night for the final Worthing League match of the season. Well played to the visitors on their win. There was plenty of good natured banter, the usual array of woeful shots and plenty of cries of "shot Matt". Thanks to all at the Albion for looking after us this year. I think it fair to say that we were a very difficult side to beat this year and performed extremely well in a tough league. Thanks to everyone who is involved in running the Worthing League
