Captain Woeful gave the home team an awful start losing his opening break, Nigel first to get the balls back and made sure while I added further pegs, missed balls and even managed to knock a ball out of play.... Excellent 9k plus opener from Matthew to give Barry no chance, Barry did get the break back but took the black peg with the last ball to join his captain on a big round number. Joe opened with 6k, Gary did get them back straight away but was unlucky to take a peg, Joe also pegged a break and Gary finished off. Excellent 9k opener from Martin to give Marcus no chance, a couple of breaks from Marcus to finish off. Matthew left a ball up the middle when he missed a split and then missed the ball.... Martin played an attacking shot to try to clear it, got a bit of luck and potted all 3 balls before running in another 8k plus break to win the game. Barry made a very good opening break of just under 7k before missing at the back, Nigel got the balls back and never looked like missing just catching the score when the bar dropped in a high quality game. Enjoyable evening in good company, A nice selection of food provided, we may have been slightly noisy on (several) occasions which possibly interfered with the quiz going on in the other bar....!!

Nice report Dave and thanks to our hosts for an enjoyable evening. Apologies to the quizzers but I do struggle to keep some of the louder elements in the team quiet I was lucky to find some assistance from a very nice lady behind the bar who was more than a match even for the "Silent" members of the team

White Hart A 3 BLEP 3.
Again we had our captain pulling his hair out, must improve is on the report card.
Know the Alexandra won against the White Hart C, think it was 4-2.
