It is with great sadness that i have to let you all know that Kevin passed away yesterday afternoon after a short battle with cancer. As you will know he was a gentlemen of the game who always played in the right spirit with a smile on his face. Condolences go out to his wife Sam and daughter Ella

Thanks for letting us know Mark - That's terrible news even if we were all expecting it. I knew Kevin a long time, played against him at the Friar Marston Road and with him in the Oxford county and Inter-Area teams. A lovely polite man, a great player who had exactly the right attitude to the game - always keeping things in perspective.
My condolences to his wife and family, to Robin of course and to his team mates who will have a huge hole in their team.
RIP Kev.

Sad news indeed. I've also known Kevin since the days of the Friar, Marston where he and Robin used to play. He was a good friend and a very good player. He was always good fun to be with and loved nothing more than a good laugh! My condolences to his wife and family. RIP Kev.

R.I.P Kevin. It's such a tragedy that two of Oxfordshire bar billiards' greatest friends have been taken from us in such a short space of time.
In the short time I knew Kev it was plain to see he was one of the game's gentlemen. A top player too, dished out more than a few pickings my way on the table!
