Great news, Ros, will request for it to be added to the Tables Map:
Dog & Duck, Dorking Road, Kingsfold, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 3SA
Close to another non-league one, Inn On The Green (Ockley) .... Hopefully we can foster some interest towards future League participation.

Out and about in Ockley a couple of weeks ago and looked in on the Inn On The Green. Despite having no league team, the bar billiards table gets plenty of play from casual visitors: table is in a prominent position and often spotted by diners who ask to know how it is played.
And Lauren has acquired a second table !!! Although not properly installed yet, there is plenty of room to put it and according to Lauren, if ever called upon to host an Open he would be able to do it.
Now, a pub with two tables is a rare commodity, and here is a ready-made venue for a future 'Masters'.
Also, perhaps the AEBBA might consider it for the British Ladies Open which doesn't have a date yet on the 2022 calendar. Being in the west of the county of Surrey puts the venue in the centre of the Ladies' bar billiards universe, handy for Sussex from the south, Redhill from the east and Oxon/Bucks/Northants from the north.

With the deadline for team registrations for HDBBL looming (this Friday), tommo embarked on a further factfinding tour tonight, visiting the Stout House and the Star. This time last year the position was that the Star had a rented SAMS in reasonable condition, and the Stout House a modern Supreme - described as 'horrible' by Dillon but which had more regular usage. The same landlord ran both pubs, and a diplomatic approach was suggested whereby the two tables should be swapped over, as a result of which a league team from the Stout House might be forthcoming. A year down the line and much has changed. The Stout House when I passed by was in darkness. Peering through the window, could not make out a table. The Star provided another shock - yes, a table, but a Supreme ..... had the recommended swap taken place ? Sadly no, according to Dannii, the acting manageress, who was able to provide me with the following info: Both pubs have been sold to separate buyers. The new Stout House owner is Simon from The Bear in Market Square. The pub will be closed for a couple of weeks while a quick refurbishment takes place. The table has been reclaimed by the operating firm and the odds are firmly against a table going back in afterwards. The Star deal has also gone through with the new owners taking over some time in October. The word is, they wish to have a bespoke room for games (pool and darts teams) and Dannii will be recommending bar billiards too, but at this stage she is not even certain of her job. The mystery surrounding the table is down to the 'good one' keeping getting jammed (no doubt due to a faulty £2 conversion): had to go back and a different one supplied. The locals are friendly enough and it is a hard core of the pool players who would be more than willing to make up a b-b team some time in the future should the pub's prospects improve. Had a go on the table though and it was hard work: slow, and front left leg needing winding up to counteract the left-hand roll. Def. not a Dillon table !

Some good work there Clive.
Re the Deadline looming on Friday, the Demise of Roffey H will leave a bye on the fixtures list & will be open to any team wishing to enter a side this could be extended to the middle of September.

I understand it's been sold. Sold to a regular who 'fell in love with it' according to Danny the Landlord. In a private house since Christmas.
