Ahead of the final series, and with a few postponed matches remaining, here is currently who needs what from the final games.
DIVISION ONE The top two meet in the final series with Redhill A requiring two legs to claim the title, while Worthing A would take the title with a 6-1 or 7-0 win. Tunbridge Wells can still finish runners-up if Worthing A lose and they win well in their two remaining games. Worthing B will finish bottom.
DIVISION TWO Brighton B have already won the title following their series 9 win. Horsham will finish second with a win at Brighton C; if they lose Redhill B can finish runners-up by winning their two remaining matches. Brighton C will finish bottom.
DIVISION THREE Lewes have won the title following their 5-2 win against Mid Sussex B in series 9. Mid Sussex A will finish second if they get two legs or more in their final game away at Hastings. If Mid Sussex A fail to get the two legs then their B team will be runners-up.

Redhill A 4 Worthing A 3
Congratulations to Redhill on winning this year's competition. Their Home record on the Merstham club table is quite formidable, so for us to achieve the impossible, was impossible. I hoped Geoff would mess up in the first leg, hence why I put myself first. But although he had a shaky first 2k, he managed to open with enough. Joe played well for us next to level but then Sleesy took the third giving us no chance. Good wins for Mike D & Martin S took it to a decider but Gary proved to strong for Chocie

Well done to Redhill on winning the title this year. Reflection on Worthing Bs season is that we went into the season knowing we would not be able to field the strongest side for a lot of matches, but I am proud of the way my team handled themselves and thank those who stood in and made every game a good occasion. Some good performances, the captain has not has his best season playing wise and decision wise and for that I apologise, but look forward to next season when we can regroup, and hopefully I will be invited to captain again as I have enjoyed the season.

REDHILL A 4 WORTHING A 3
Geoff 13140 Kevin 1550 Tony 180 Joe 11180 John 7170 Terry 4620 Dave 5350 Gerry 5280 Colin 3620 Mick 6580 DC 720 Martin 14290 Gary 13060 Stu 1170
As Kevin has said a crucial first leg with Geoff starting a bit shaky but a grafted 10k opener didn't leave Kevin enough table time. Joe on second took a while to settle but then forged a good lead.Unfortunately Tony lost a 5k break which would have put him back in it but Joe made no mistakes.
Game 3 Me and Terry.Neither of us seemed to want to win both looking breaks until I finally woke up with 6k break 2-1 and title.
Game 4 what a scrap never much in it and in a tense end Dave needing 200 hole for victory. Next up Mick and Colin another game of swinging fortunes saw Mick get ahead and Colin playing catch up was never going to get there.
DC and Martin on next Dave had little opportunity as Martin played superbly top scoring on the evening. 3-3
Deciding frame Gary and Stu.Gary in no mood to let this one slip and a couple of good breaks was enough giving Stu no chance and sealing the win 4-3.
Thanks to the Worthing lads for a good night of friendly banter.

Well done to the three division winners for this season:- Redhill A on winning Division 1 Brighton B on winning Division 2 Lewes on winning Division 3 If elected for next season I will be looking to put another series in before Christmas, this looks a possibility as a number of AEBBA competitions have been moved. That being said, I would like to see more matches played on the correct date next season and any rearrangements done well in advance so matches are completed on time and without inconvenience to the opposition. Thanks to everyone for playing in the Inter-League Home and Away this season

Looks like congratulations to pete Edwards on poy for div 3 having played less games but won the same number going unbeaten Sadly not. The Interleague averages are worked out first on games won and then on average score. So Gandalf is top of the Div 3 table, congratulations to him. However, there are no prizes for topping the Interleague tables, they are purely for interest, with the ranking points being the reward for performance. It's the Mid Sussex POY tables that are worked out on games won/less games lost/averages.
