Could West Sussex and Mid Sussex confirm as soon as possible if they will be entering a B team. If only 4 teams we are thinking of possibly holding over Sussex 50’s and captains on this day if there are only 4 B teams
Thanks

Congratulations to Brighton B who won the B/C Teams division today. Despite narrowly losing to Redhill B in the last series they finished two points clear of Redhill who were runners-up. Dave Reeves was the only player to win all 9 points available and also had the top score of 13,060. Full results now on Sussex website B/C Teams Results

A very well run day thank you to Jean and Matt, the day going down to the last series matches before a winner was found. Redhill coming back well after losing to Worthing B, Brighton B putting themselves in a good position by taking the last 3 games against Worthing B 9-0 and effectively putting Worthing out of it.
Thank you to a very sporting Brighton C side and good to see some new faces taking part for the first time within that team, and those that did so being of the younger generation and that is good for the game.
Great work by Stuart getting the results on so promptly.

Congratulations to West Sussex who won Division Two today. They won all four matches and finished seven points clear of Littlehampton in second. In a high scoring day, the individual stats were topped by Chris Cox and Martin Cole who both won 11 out of the maximum 12 points. Martin Cole also recorded the first ever 20k score in the Division Two One Day when scoring 21,150, which happened in a leg when his opponent scored 1410! Full results are now on the website Link to results

Many thanks for an extremely well run day.
Thanks for getting the results published quickly, but unfortunately, the stats on high scores seem to be quite wildly out, although the ranking points appear to be correct:
I had three scores of over 5k, but have only been credited with one. Andy F-W also had three and has only been credited with one. Derek had three 5K and a 10k and has only been credited with two 5k and a 10k. Chase had two over 5k, but hasn't been credited with any.
Looking further down the list, there are a number of players whose recorded high scores exceed 5k, but haven't been credited with any over 5ks.

Thanks for getting the results published quickly, but unfortunately, the stats on high scores seem to be quite wildly out A bit harsh to say the stats are wildly out; only one column incorrect :) Thanks for pointing this out as has highlighted a problem in my One Day template where in double leg matches the 5k+ scores are ignored in series 2 and 4!! A random bit of bad coding doing this. As well as the Division Two issues from Sunday you highlighted it also affects most of the other One Day results on the website so will update all of these when time allows.

I didn't think I was harsh - I did clearly say that it was the stats on high scores! They're still not quite right - it looks as if scores over 10k are being also counted as 5k scores in some cases - or at least that's what it looks like, as some of the 5ks are too high now.

Colin sorry if I misled you. I was just.announcing the three players (in no particular order) who had won 7 out of 8 legs. Will still have the galaxy though 😂
Ros I think it is the way it’s worded as when I first read it the first thing I thought was that it was harsh. I think perhaps a personal message would have been better. If on here just a simple could you check the stats for scores over 5k please.
Could be wrong but Im sure that it’s always been the case that a score of over 10k will also show in the over 5k score ( it is over 5k)

Jean is correct over 10k has always showed as over 5k as well in the case of Sussex, not necessarily on other web sites, likewise I believe over 15k will show as an over 10k as well.
I found a problem with something Saturday but felt that it was best to use personal messaging to sort it, as those that volunteer their time to do these things deserve the respect of being contacted personally rather than it becoming an open forum talking point. Stuart has pointed out a glitch on his spreadsheet and will sort.
I think Stuart and Jean should be praised for taking the time to get the web site updated so quickly, I know how much work is involved and how thankless it can be.

I stand corrected on the 10k scores.
I thought it best to say what I had found on here, because a lot of people will have already looked at their stats and not realised that there was something wrong, therefore would not look again. It was not meant to be a criticism of anyone.
I sincerely appreciate the amount of work that others do - but please can we get away from the idea that nobody is allowed to say anything? (Except that the person who points out that there was an error gets stepped on?)

Due to me not reading the spreadsheet I was given correctly and not checking the rules I have declared the wrong winners on here. In fact Redhill finish first on head to head record over Brighton. So congratulations to Redhill on winning the Ladies One Day. Will correct all the details later.

Congratulations to Worthing who won Division One. In a tight finish they finished one point ahead of Redhill who were runners-up. Nigel Senior was the only person to win all 12 points, and averaged 13164 in doing so. Gareth Lloyd had the highest score of 19190. Full results on the Sussex website Link to ResultsThanks to the Burgess Hill Club for hosting us superbly over the two weekends. Jean for running the admin and Matt for shouting and getting everyone in the right place. Thanks to all the teams and players for making this a great event over all four days. Thanks also to everyone who helped with the tables and packing up including Stu, Alan, Martin Smith, Martin Kemsley, KT, Iain Tarrant and Jean. Apologies to anyone I have missed.
