Saw a several boxes outside my front door this morning and thought perhaps the casks of Adnams Broadside had arrived.
When I looked closer it was various types of salad leaves, all freshly packed with the local market gardener's labels.
As those of you who have been here know I have fields on three sides so am no stranger to the occasional bit of produce.
This one is a majorly benevolent gift so in times of lockdown I will be happy to receive suggestions as for what to do with forty catering sized bags of various salads! (ones that do not involve toilet rolls please as we are a bit short).
I have left messages with the distributor!

I don't think anyone from Scotland will be interested - they'e allergic to salad .......... they might help you polish off the Adnams, though !

Have my own 'click and collect' business going today!
Intercrop don't want it back and I have thus emailed all the neighbours in our neighbourhood watch group.
