Spcc A 5 Horley CC 0
Ssorry no scores. Horley with breaks + 1500 h cap
Dc beat Chris Vern beat Benny Tracy beat Nev Junkie beat Roland John beat Aaron
Dc and Chris on first and Chris made a few to add a bit to his start. DC needing a few goes to get the balls back only to peg his break. Eventually Dave made 5k and touch to take the leg.
Skiipper and Benny second up. Benny off early giving Vern a good opportunity to get some points. The game got scrappy with Vern struggling with the one up. Plenty of goes until finally Vern got the Hang of things. A great fight back Benny almost nicked it but ran out of time.
Tracy and Nev next up. Nev playing well added to his start and took a good lead but Tracy got the balls Back made a 3k break. Even game till a few more from trace sealed the win and match.
Junkie and Roly 4th and best game of the night. Junkie catching Roland's handicap fairly quickly gave HI'm an early lead. Junkie playing well made a 4k break to extend his lead but Roly next to clear the Balls and played it out to just fall short.
Last but not least me and Aaron. A bit of a scrappy start chasing balls at the top of the table. A few more goes and I got them back 7k and touch enough to take the leg.
A smashing evening with the Horley lads and a good win if a bit of a surprise to win all frames. See from the semi final draw a South Park Derby.

What a week for the SPCC B, having beaten the MVC B on Monday to reach the President's Cup Final, we then had to play our A team in the Bill Burwood Cup Semi Final giving them all 5 breaks with only a 500 point head start on both teams home table.
SPCC A did not make the most of having the breaks, all off very early giving us a chance,
Pete beat Vernon, close game with Pete getting the break back near the end to seal victory. Martin beat John, John off at 1500, I then made a 5500 break, John nothing and then I made another 3000+ to round off. Genette lost to DC, Genette lost a 3000 which could have made it very close. Mick beat laurie, scores level when laurie broke down with very little time left and Mick got the break back to seal the point and put us into the final. Denise lost Tracy, nothing on this one, Tracy won on the last ball, with a little help from DC.

Congratulations to our B team winning the first leg of the Burwood Cup Final 3-2 . I thought it would be a close match and That's how it played out with Mvc A going 2 nil up finally going down by the odd frame. All to play for in the second leg next Week at Merstham. The Bs have all the breaks but have to concede a 2k handicap start. It could really go either way as Mvc Top can be tricky at times. Who noes we may need an extra leg. Watch this space and may the best team win. South Park B on for the cup double . MvcA on for the Cup and league double. Ps Would be great to see some scores from first leg.

No extra leg in this one, if it's 5-5 the team with the highest team aggregate score over the two games wins. I will try to post the scores later when I get them off Denise.

2nd Leg MVC B 1 SPCC B 4
Jeff 3480 Denise 6950 Neil 3770 Pete 6300 Colin 6790 Genette 2710 Chris 3290 Mick 5510 Benny 3850 Martin 4720
Not so one sided as it looks, if Neil had kept all the points he scored it could have been very close and Mick was level going into the last few minutes.
Good win for us to complete the Cup Double.
